Opinions on Odilia/Odelia

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries! Pretty simple question, what do you think of it, how do you picture an [name_f]Odilia[/name_f]/[name_f]Odelia[/name_f]? Which spelling do you like better? Thanks!

Of the two, I like the spelling [name_f]Odelia[/name_f] better. [name_f]Odilia[/name_f] just looks a little odd to me. What do you think of [name_f]Odette[/name_f]?

For me, [name_f]Odette[/name_f] is too Swan [name_u]Lake[/name_u] for me. I like the sound of [name_f]Odelia[/name_f]/[name_f]Odilia[/name_f] better. I agree the spelling of [name_f]Odelia[/name_f] looks better than [name_f]Odilia[/name_f], but I love original spellings: which is [name_f]Odilia[/name_f]. I have this same problem with [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] vs [name_f]Isidora[/name_f].

I really like [name_f]Odelia[/name_f]! [name_f]Odilia[/name_f] looks too much like [name_f]Odile[/name_f], a not-so-great character.

I think [name_f]Odelia[/name_f] is much prettier. I think it’s a beautiful name, couldn’t get my husband to go for it!

It sounds awkward and makes me cringe. I picture a nerdy girl with glasses and a lot of acne.

[name_f]Odelia[/name_f] looks better rounded while [name_f]Odilia[/name_f] seems to run together. Personally, I also pronounce them with a slight difference as O-del-ee-uh and O-dill-ya.

[name_f]Odilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Odelia[/name_f] are just lovely! Like both spellings.
