Our other childrens names are [name]Theodore[/name] ([name]Theo[/name]), [name]Matilda[/name] ([name]Tilly[/name]), & [name]Philippa[/name] ([name]Pippa[/name]). We’re still looking for suggestions of course, anything three syllables that is easy to pronounce and ends in A with some sort of nickname potential is great! Could you tell me what you think of these?
[name]Agatha[/name] - My husband loves it, I love it, I love that I think of [name]Agatha[/name] [name]Christie[/name], one of my favourite authors, and our other children’s names tie into literary or movie names as well, it fits out requirements, but I’m not sold, I can imagine a cute baby with the name, and we could call her [name]Aggie[/name], but it seems so, and I’m lacking words here, harsh? I don’t know, I hope it grows on me.
[name]Cecilia[/name] - Too sweet, means blind, four syllables, hate the nickname Cece, husbands favourite name ever. Ugh
[name]Clarissa[/name] - The opposite of [name]Agatha[/name], still has all we want in a name, but it’s REALLY pretty, what if she wants to be tough? I always loved the name [name]Clara[/name], but it seems like this is almost too beautiful a name. It’s my favourite name though, it just doesn’t seem to fit.
[name]Claudia[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it, but I hate [name]Claud[/name] or [name]Dia[/name] as a nn, so…?
[name]Estella[/name] - Husband loves it, it’s not my cup of tea until I realize I can give her the middle name [name]Meg[/name] for my [name]SIL[/name] and then call her [name]Esme[/name]! yay!
[name]Irina[/name] - I don’t love it for a second, then I think of [name]Irina[/name] Sendler and I love it a lot, it’s a great name, but it has no nicknames.
[name]Leonora[/name] - One of my husbands favourites, but we can’t agree on how to pronounce it! [name]Lee[/name]-oh-nore-uh or [name]Len[/name]-or-uh? I don’t like the seconnd one. Or the first one, if I’m being really honest.
[name]Lucia[/name] - Makes me wish [name]Pippa[/name] didn’t have [name]Louisa[/name] as one of her middle names. Except not really. Also, it’s supposed to be pronounced Lucheeuh right? I say [name]Lucy[/name]-a, which annoys even me.
[name]Lydia[/name] - It has family ties, but I can’t think of nicknames past Lydi or [name]Dia[/name], and I don’t like those. It also seems perfect to shoot up in popularity.
[name]Tabitha[/name] - If I had the baby and it turned out to be a girl today, this is the name I would use. [name]Tibby[/name], [name]Tabby[/name], [name]Beth[/name], I love it.
