So I recently discovered the name [name]Ozias[/name], and found it attractive to begin with, and even more so with the perfect nickname [name]Ozzie[/name]. Does it sound too…exotic? or maybe biblical? (which it is) I guess I’m just wondering how well it would fit as a name in modern society. 'cause I think I’m falling hard for this name.
Thanks in advance!
I think the pronunciation just might be a little tricky. I tend to pronounce the ‘z’ as an ‘s’. But as long as your cool with that the name isn’t too tricky. And I love the nn [name]Ozzie[/name]
I wouldn’t find that tragic, no. Thanks for the feedback!
I like it! I have a Turkish friend whose son’s name is Ozan, nickname [name]Ozie[/name]. So cute.
I found this name about a month back as well and have added it to my long list.
I still wonder as well if it sounds too biblical but I do really like it and [name]Ozzie[/name] is adorable!
I like this name quite a bit. It would probably have made it’s way on to my own short-list, if I didn’t prefer the name [name]Amias[/name] (uh-MY-us), which has a somewhat similar sound. [name]Ozzie[/name] or [name]Si[/name] would both be viable NNs.
[name]Love[/name] it. So cool and fresh, yet old-worldy
This. It’s on my list, and I think it’s awesome.
It is pretty darn cool.
Another one I like is [name]Osric[/name].
I love [name]Ozias[/name], although I slightly prefer [name]Osias[/name].
