Opinions on Peter?

My husband and I are currently TTC… so I am yet again here because I am obsessed with names and feel the need to plan everything [name]WAY[/name] in advance and come up with a list of several “perfect” names!

We have 1 son… (see name in signature)…

We fought SOOO much on his name… we wanted something that was easily pronouncable in both spanish and english (though it didnt have to be perfect for both languages)…

I like a little more offbeat names like [name]Atticus[/name], [name]Matvey[/name] and [name]Liev[/name]…My husband liked [name]Matvey[/name] and [name]Josef[/name] and we both liked [name]Patrick[/name].

We ended up choosing [name]Josef[/name] as a FN and while it is a VERY familiar name and has been used for [name]EVER[/name]!! It is not common anymore (at least where I live) and I have only met 1 other [name]Joseph[/name] (never another [name]Josef[/name]) since my son has been born!

If my sons/future sons names were all my choice they would be [name]Atticus[/name] and the next would by [name]Cyrus[/name]! BUT DH said/says NOW [name]WAY[/name]!

SOOOOO… Now the question is if we were to have another boy is [name]Peter[/name] too plain… Does it just sound like a borning sib set?

[name]Josef[/name] and [name]Peter[/name]??? or is it Classic and fresh?

I cant decide!!! WDYT? Should I add [name]Peter[/name] to my list?

My favorite brother’s name is [name]Peter[/name] and I think it suits him. He is no nonsense and no one ever calls him [name]Pete[/name] :stuck_out_tongue: always [name]Peter[/name].

I love [name]Peter[/name]. Definitely a classic name, especially when paired with [name]Josef[/name].

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Peter[/name]. We named our son [name]Peter[/name] [name]Wesley[/name] and I love it more every day. I get alot of compliments on his name and have not met another baby yet named [name]Peter[/name] (which I like)! Go for it… Best, [name]Liz[/name]

I’m here to show more love for [name]Peter[/name]. There should be more little boys named [name]Peter[/name]. I adore the associations with [name]Peter[/name] [name]Pan[/name] and [name]Peter[/name] Rabbit.

I have a [name]Peter[/name] and his name is perfect for him. He is the cutest little thing! I think it is very strong and cute at the same time.

[name]Both[/name] of the Peters I’ve known (adults) are top notch, first rate guys. I have great associations with the name. It sounds nice with [name]Josef[/name]. I say consider it strongly : D.

I love [name]Peter[/name]! It was one of my favorite names ever while I was in high school, and I adore the association to [name]Peter[/name] Pevensie. :slight_smile: Somehow it does seem to have lost a bit of its charm for me, but I still love it and find it completely classic. I think [name]Josef[/name] and [name]Peter[/name] would be great for brothers.
