Opinions on Pilar

I would like to know especially from [name_m]French[/name_m] and Spanish berries what they think of [name_f]Pilar[/name_f].

[name_f]Pilar[/name_f] is considered a bit of a middle-aged woman name in Spain, where I come from, but my husband and I both agree that in [name_m]French[/name_m] it sounds different, while style being familiar and also feels a bit mysterious.

Thank you.

I am neither [name_m]French[/name_m] nor Spanish, but I think [name_f]Pilar[/name_f] is darling.

I think [name_f]Pilar[/name_f] is pretty.

I like it.

It’s my cousin’s middle name, which I love! Simple, pretty, and a slightly more exotic sister to [name_u]Piper[/name_u] (another one of my faves)! [name_u]Love[/name_u], love, love!

Thanks for the comments! [name_f]Pilar[/name_f] is a name we are still debating… We don’t love it passionately as we immediately did [name_m]Albert[/name_m] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]'s names, but we still have time for it to grow on us even more.

I have always liked [name_f]Pilar[/name_f]. Being English speaking I tend to lazily say pill-LAR instead of pee-LAR
