Hello all,

We are due to have our first baby on [name_u]August[/name_u] 5th. The 20 week ultrasound shows girl (which I was convinced of all along!!)

We come from big families with Irish and Scottish history and there are A LOT of cousins so names are slim picking if we don’t want duplicates on first names!

Our potentials right now are;

[name_u]Jordan[/name_u] [name_f]Heather[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] O’[name_m]Connor[/name_m]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_f]Heather[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] O’[name_m]Connor[/name_m]

Middle names are pretty set, they honour myself, my mom, my Mother-in-[name_m]Law[/name_m] and my best friend. We don’t really want names too matchy to our own names [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] & [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m].

Opinions on flow or other similar names are welcomed and requested!

I love [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_f]Heather[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] O’[name_m]Connor[/name_m]. I think it sounds independent and strong.

Another vote for [name_u]Rory[/name_u]! [name_u]Jordan[/name_u] feels dated to me and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] feels much fresher, plus I feel it’s very lively yet grounded.

I won’t offer more suggestions at this point, but if you’re looking for more possibilities, let us know what kinds of names you like (for example, do you want it to be unisex for sure?) and what names you love but can’t use (because of cousins having used them already, or for other reasons).
