Looking for a sibling name to go with Bluebelle Story. If its a boy, we’ve decided on Soren Jett or Indigo Arrow so at least thats sorted. :slight_smile:

As for a girl we’re struggling to choose between
Holliday
Daffodil
Florrie
Pixie

We originally chose Holliday but then became unsure and decided to go for Daffodil Poet or Daffodil Sonnet to match with Bluebelle’s name. Not a lot of people like this idea, but we think it will go nicely just something isn’t ‘right’.

Florrie and Pixie are new found loves for OH and I. I love the pronunciation of Florrie and how its ‘nickname-y’ and Pixie I think is so spunky and cute, but do they flow nicely with Bluebelle’s name?

Out of the first names you’ve chosen I absolutely love [name_f]Daffodil[/name_f] and [name_f]Pixie[/name_f]. For me [name_f]Daffodil[/name_f] will be a middle name one day for a future child as it has a very special meaning in my family and I think it’s so beautiful. Also [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f] is so gorgeous. For me though with [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f] and [name_f]Daffodil[/name_f] both being flower names you might have to keep the flower theme going if you were to have future daughters so there is that to consider if other flower names aren’t appealing to you or an all flower sibset. At the end of the day they are just names and naming should be fun or special so it’s really not an issue to me if there would be two flower names but one non flower name in a sibset but I know some people are concerned with things like that. I think [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] is so cute and I think it goes much better with [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f]. [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] and [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] really aren’t my style at all although obv again this is your choice lol.

Out of the middle names selected for Daffofil and [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] my favourites are [name_f]Daffodil[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f].

With [name_f]Bluebelle[/name_f] [name_u]Story[/name_u] I think [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is perfection! They fit together without being overly matching and it’s unique and beautiful in it’s own right. From your boys names [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] is my favourite (I adore [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] and nn.[name_f]Indy[/name_f]!). [name_m]Soren[/name_m] [name_m]Jett[/name_m] is a close second.

Of your other [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] combos I’d avoid [name_f]Raine[/name_f] and [name_u]Poet[/name_u] because while I think [name_f]Raine[/name_f] is very cute, they’re a bit ‘wordy’ (plus nobody likes holiday rain!) and [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] is a bit like [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] to me. [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is a cute combo, as is [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_f]Nina[/name_f].

[name_f]Daffodil[/name_f] [name_u]Poet[/name_u] and [name_f]Daffodil[/name_f] [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f] are way too matchy for me. Plus there’s the inevitable nn [name_u]Daffy[/name_u] which I’m not keen on at all (I just think [name_u]Daffy[/name_u] duck!). Also if you had another daughter it could restrict you to that formula for names so she wouldn’t feel left out ([name_f]Peony[/name_f] [name_u]Fable[/name_u], [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_f]Sonnet[/name_f], [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] [name_u]Lyric[/name_u]!). I like flowery names though. Maybe an unusual floral name that’s not quite so obvious? What about [name_f]Tansy[/name_f], [name_f]Fleur[/name_f], [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], [name_f]Posey[/name_f], [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], [name_f]Bryony[/name_f]/[name_f]Briony[/name_f] or [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]? [name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] would be lovely middles for any of them. I love [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Posey[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f] for you.

[name_f]Florrie[/name_f] is cute. I like [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]. They feel a bit short and nicknamey with [name_f]Bluebelle[/name_f] though. Would you consider [name_f]Florence[/name_f] or [name_f]Flora[/name_f] with nn. [name_f]Florrie[/name_f]?

Personally I’m not a fan of [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] (I had an evil hamster called [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] once!), [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] is one of my GP’s though so I can see the appeal. [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] are cute combos. [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is a bit too frilly, like the name of a Disney fairy, and [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] sounds like a place name. I knew a local wood as [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] Woods as a child and I think [name_f]Fairy[/name_f] Meadows is an actual place name. A bit different but would you consider [name_f]Elvira[/name_f] ([name_f]Elva[/name_f] or [name_f]Elvyra[/name_f])? [name_f]Elvie[/name_f] is a cute nn and similar to [name_f]Pixie[/name_f]. [name_f]Elvira[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_f]Elvira[/name_f] [name_u]Poet[/name_u] or [name_f]Elvira[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f]?

[name_f]Meadow[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] works with [name_f]Bluebelle[/name_f] [name_u]Story[/name_u], though I prefer others on your list.

So, overall my favourite is [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] would be my second choice, followed by ([name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]) [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].

[name_f]Holliday[/name_f] is definitely the name you need to choose. As pp said, it fits nicely without being overly matchy. [name_f]Bluebelle[/name_f] can go by [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] can go by [name_f]Holly[/name_f]. Plus, I love the throwback to [name_u]Billie[/name_u] [name_f]Holliday[/name_f].

[name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] would be my vote.

I think [name_m]Soren[/name_m] [name_m]Jett[/name_m] is the better of your boy names. [name_u]Indigo[/name_u]/[name_f]Indie[/name_f] is all girl to me.

For me, [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] [name_f]Avigail[/name_f] is a WONDERFUL Name for the [name_f]Sister[/name_f] of [name_f]Bluebelle[/name_f] [name_u]Story[/name_u], and, just personally, I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] [name_m]Soren[/name_m] for a [name_m]Little[/name_m] Brother! I like [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] the best. Its got a nice ring to it, and you can use [name_f]Hollie[/name_f]/[name_f]Holly[/name_f] as a nickname.

I like [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] the best. [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f] is nice but perhaps too much imagery!

I’m not a fan of [name_f]Daffodil[/name_f] as it seems a bit ott for my taste, and two unusual flower names together may not be the best. Though [name_f]Daffodil[/name_f] [name_u]Poet[/name_u] would be my favourite.

I dislike [name_f]Florrie[/name_f]. Its too nicknamey and I dont like any full names for it.

[name_f]Pixie[/name_f] is my darling little kitten’s name, so as much as I think its gorgeous I cant see it on a human! I definitely think its usable though. I like [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f].

There’s something about [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] I dont like. Too outdated, maybe? I do think [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is nice though.

Because I like [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] so much, how about [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] or [name_f]Holliday[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]?
