Opinions on sibset Caroline & Carlotta

[name]Hi[/name],
This is for characters in my book. Two sisters called:
[name]Caroline[/name] “[name]Caro[/name]”
[name]Carlotta[/name] “[name]Lotta[/name]”

I like it, especially [name]Caro[/name]. What do you think? Middle name suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks,
[name]Ellie[/name] xx

[name]Both[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Carlotta[/name]/[name]Charlotte[/name] are female forms of [name]Charles[/name] so it would be like naming the two female characters the same thing. Personally, I wouldn’t use them together even for twins. What about [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name]?

The names do feel similar and maybe to similar for ‘real life’ but for a novel [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Carlotta[/name] work stunningly well together. I also adore [name]Caroline[/name] she’s a elegant choice with a gorgeous southern feel whereas [name]Carlotta[/name] is very spunky with a great Italian feel but also elegant thus making the siblings have their own character but tying them together.
