Opinions on some baby girl names plus suggestions unnusual pretty and a bit of spunk

I’ve been on here a few times, sort of tossing names around a bit trying to get a feel for something. I really like [name]Saffron[/name] nickname Saffy as a name but OH isnt sold and i like a few others names and have agreed to explore all avenues before settling. i’m actually quite happy to do this as its about 4 and a half months till baby is here and i dont feel comfortable having a decision just yet.

So here’s what i’m liking
[name]Saffron[/name]
[name]Sapphire[/name] (starting to like this just as much as [name]Saffron[/name] i think!)
[name]Verity[/name] (I love the ity ending sound)
[name]Liberty[/name] ([name]Libby[/name] is cute and i think it is the ty ending i like!)
[name]Meadow[/name]
[name]Delphine[/name] (this has been given a firm NO from mother and OH)
[name]Zoe[/name] (love this but my OH doesnt)
[name]Bridget[/name] (i like the strength of this name and i like the idea of [name]Birdie[/name] as a possibly nn)
[name]Alison[/name] or [name]Alice[/name] (for some reason i’m digging the son end of [name]Alison[/name])
[name]Cassidy[/name] (i like [name]Cassie[/name], i dont like [name]Cassandra[/name] though or [name]Cassiopeia[/name] i dont think)

I particularly love nature names and been looking into bird names too! I’m not shy of the top 100 or even top 20 but i do want something a little more unnusual. my partner has a season name so other season names are out! she is due in march i’m a kiwi so autumn-y names are good too.
Tree names, [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Juniper[/name] and [name]Hazel[/name] are growing on me too

OH has mentioned a couple of names she likes
[name]Lyla[/name]
[name]Alannah[/name]
[name]Lily[/name]

and thats about it, and she says she doesnt want to name our daughter any of those names she just likes them! she is very fussy! the names she has said she likes seem to be heavy in the letter L and very pretty and floaty to me, i find i want a name thats a lot more grounded so to speak. She also says the names she like are too floaty but she doesnt know what she wants haha but at least she’s open!

Looking at my namelist i love them all! they are growing on OH too but we both want some other suggestions and also find out what the berries think!
ta for now

I like many of the names you listed. I’d only use [name]Saffron[/name] for a boy tho. My daughter’s name is [name]Meadow[/name] [name]Alayna[/name] and we adore it and everyone swoons over it.

[name]Felicity[/name] was the first name to come to mind when I read only your title.
Other suggestions: [name]Briony[/name], [name]Diana[/name], [name]Lavender[/name], [name]Reverie[/name], [name]Serena[/name]. Good luck! =]

Thanks guys, @spunkycristine i [name]LOVE[/name] the combo [name]Meadow[/name] [name]Alayna[/name] just beautiful!
[name]Serena[/name] appeals to me as my favourite book of all the is The [name]Little[/name] White Horse and the hare is named [name]Serena[/name].
I would like [name]Felicity[/name] but i always get tongue tied and say facility for some reason!
I love my name list lol i’m worried they’re not TOO unusual are they?? I do like classic names like [name]Laura[/name] and [name]Anna[/name] as well but for some reason this little girl is giving me more nature-y quirky vibes.

I also have an angel baby [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
I know [name]Grace[/name] seems a bit filler but at the time of her birth and sudden death it was what felt right she was so tiny and so graceful looking. i love the name [name]Tessa[/name] to me it is just beautiful

I like a mix of hard and soft sounds i think. I find [name]Melanie[/name] too ‘soft’ but [name]Melinda[/name] a perfect mix i thnk the d helps ground it perhaps.
I dont like one syllable first names so much, i’m not sure why they just feel incomplete to me. Or no, i take that back, i like many one syllable names i just cant see myself using them! eg [name]Wren[/name], [name]Brynn[/name], [name]Blythe[/name] i love those names but just want something ‘fuller’.
