I love the name [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f], but I’d like to hear other people’s opinions on it. I also want to create a sibset of [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f] and [name_f]Lana[/name_f], but do those work together?

I like [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f] but I doubt how useable it is - but maybe with a more common middle name? I think [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f] and [name_f]Lana[/name_f] are too close to be sisters - of the two I prefer [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f]
I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f], however I think [name_f]Lana[/name_f] is absolutely beautiful!
I think [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f] is lovely and I adore the origins. However, [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f] and [name_f]Lana[/name_f] are similar in sound and very different in style - personally, I would hold on to [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f].
That’s what I kept worrying about- it sounds too similar. I personally use [name_f]Talia[/name_f]/Tal as an easier-to-say, more modern nickname for [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f]. If I was going to use the name on a real person, I would honestly call her [name_f]Talia[/name_f] most of the time.
Thalassa is great. I love the meaning and the sound of the name.
I don’t, however, think [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f] and [name_f]Lana[/name_f] work together. The names are too different in style, but too similar -La- and -a. [name_f]Lana[/name_f] would possibly work as a MN for a sister to [name_f]Thalassa[/name_f].
