I’ve recently fallen in love with [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]. I like that it’s well-known but not common (I’ve only met one in my life) and I adore its meaning (laughter). I was wondering what you all thought of the name.
A potential middle name would be [name_m]Anthony[/name_m], after my father.

[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is great! Solid, familiar, versatile, and it really does have such a positive meaning! The only potential hang up I could see is that some people may have issues with the spelling. While it is a well-known name, I’ve seen it spelled as [name_m]Isac[/name_m] or [name_m]Issac[/name_m]. Still, all that said, I think it is a great choice and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] is a fantastic combo!
I love [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] - the strong i sound is really appealing and I like how it’s familiar but not everywhere. [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] is great

If it were me (and it’s not, do what you love!) , I would go with [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] to give the kid a bit more versatility.

[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is at the top of my list as well. However, it is considered to be a very popular name, which worries me (as I know what it’s like growing up with a popular name).

Weird thing is, my sister almost named her first baby [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] but changed her mind last minute!

I love the name [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]! I’d lean towards using ‘[name_m]Zac[/name_m]’ as a nickname if I used one at all. I know quite a few little Isaacs so I think it’s relatively common in my area of the UK, but that hasn’t diminished how much I like the name.
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] (also a family name) was on my list for a long time so I think it’s a great pairing!
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is quite handsome, and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] is a very solid name. The association of bohemian [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] from that one episode of Friends is very fun for me.
I love [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]! It’s such a happy, unexpected name, even with its popularity. I feel like I know 2-4 Isaacs, but every time I’m around an [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] I always forget that I know others–it just doesn’t feel very popular! [name_m]Ike[/name_m] and [name_m]Zack[/name_m] could be nicknames, but I don’t think [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] needs one! [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] is a very nice name.
