Sorry, it’s me again. It’s been awhile. Anyways, we’re entering the last month or so. You’ve all been so helpful with helping us find name ideas and opinions and such. So I really do just want to thank you all firstly.
Anyways, [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]’s little sibling is the name we’re trying to finalize. If the baby is a boy, we’re already set on that name; [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Alexandre[/name_m]. (Yes, we’re going to spell [name_m]Alexandre[/name_m] like that with the re, because it’s a family name on my side, which is francophone).
Anyways, as of right now, if [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]’s little sibling is a girl, we’re planning on using the name; [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] [name_f]Soleil[/name_f].
We loved the suggestion of [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] [name_f]Selene[/name_f] as well, but [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] we feel is a really good fit for us, since it honours my family and such.
So we really just want to get some final opinions on the name [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] [name_f]Soleil[/name_f]. I’d love to know what you’d think if you met a little girl named [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] [name_f]Soleil[/name_f]. I’d also love to hear any other opinions! Everything is so helpful!!
I really like it! The names are both distinctive and go together well. I picture a happy, maybe a bit mischievous little girl.
(I have no idea why this is, but for some reason I picture her holding a unicorn stuffed animal over her head and wearing pink while splashing in a mudpuddle- traditionally she’d be called a girly girl, but she couldn’t care less about stereotypes, she isn’t afraid to get messy. I don’t know what this imagery would mean to others but I think of it as very positive! I didn’t mean for that to be so elaborate but the combo gives me a really distinct, sweet image.)
If one were to pronounce the name correctly, [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] sounds nothing at all like soil. We will be pronouncing it as it is meant to be said in [name_m]French[/name_m]: [name_m]Sol[/name_m]-ay.
I’m actually really excited! I hope we get to use this name!!
