I am not even relatively close to having a baby, but I love baby names. Right now I’m really loving two girl names. What are your honest opinions on the names [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] and [name_f]Anniston[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]? Thanks! (Also if someone could tell me how to make a signature, that would be great!)
I like the sound of them. Neither are particularly feminine first names, with more feminine middle names. They sound good together. The only thing that would bug me is that [name_f]Anniston[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] is significantly longer than [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Paige[/name_f]. 5 syllables vs 3. [name_m]How[/name_m] noticeable this is with a surname depends how long it is. If it’s a one syllable name, it would bother me. [name_f]Anniston[/name_f] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] and [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] both sound good to me too
I do like [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]: There’s something modern and spunky but also introspective about it. I also like [name_f]Paige[/name_f] and [name_f]Marie[/name_f]: Both have long histories of use, and are feminine without being frilly. [name_f]Anniston[/name_f] isn’t my favorite: A little trendy, and I think it’s a little too closely associated with the actress. However, I like [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] and [name_f]Anniston[/name_f] together: Unisex and modern.
On the signature: First, click Forums Home. There’s some green text that says Settings. Click on that, and scroll down. Once you do, there should be a tab that says my settings, and underneath the tab there should be something that says “[name_f]Edit[/name_f] Signature.” Click that.
I think the names go wonderfully together and definitely sound like sisters. [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is sweet, and I also really like [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] and [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] for girls too. With [name_f]Anniston[/name_f], I see the appeal sound-wise and stylistely but the association with the actress is what puts me off. It’s not that it’s a bad association it’s just that it’s a very obvious one, and I would want to assume that you had some special connection to or love of [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] Aniston.
I think they go well together. I really like spunky [name_f]Harlow[/name_f], but [name_f]Anniston[/name_f] is just not my style whatsoever.
Thanks for your opinions! [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is a big family name, so I thought [name_f]Anniston[/name_f] was a good was to include that. I know about the [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] Aniston association but I’m far away from having kids and I figure by the time my kids friends would hear about her, she wouldn’t be as relevant anymore.
