Opinions on these alternatives

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] ladies. I started to prepare a quick question and ended up wirh six or so and here they are. ♤
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer ?
[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] / [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]? or ------?
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] or [name_f]Imogene[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f].?
(I like the look of [name_f]Imogene[/name_f] but lean toward [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] pronunciation)
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_m]Yorke[/name_m] or [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f]?
[name_u]Love[/name_u] both names perhaps you could suggest alternatives for both?
[name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] Sinéad or Sinéad [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]?
The names to make a combo from
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] or [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] or minus the [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and instead could use
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Yorke[/name_m]?
[name_u]Jameson[/name_u] or [name_m]Jamieson[/name_m]?
I want the pronunciation ([name_m]Jam[/name_m]- eh- sen)
Surname [name_m]Jamieson[/name_m] has this pron. but I look at it and think as a given name it should be [name_u]Jamie[/name_u]'s son or son of [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] and [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] should be son of [name_u]James[/name_u]. Thoughts?
[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] or [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]?
[name_f]TIA[/name_f].

[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] / [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]? or ------?

I prefer the flow of [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f].

[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] or [name_f]Imogene[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f].?

[name_f]Imogene[/name_f] looks off to me. I prefer [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f].

[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_m]Yorke[/name_m] or [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f]?

I prefer the flow of [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_m]Yorke[/name_m]. [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f] for some reason seems like a mouthful.

[name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] Sinéad or Sinéad [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]?

I prefer the flow of [name_f]Sinead[/name_f] Pomline.

[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] or [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] or minus the [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and instead could use
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Yorke[/name_m]?

I love [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]. Although I think of [name_u]Gray[/name_u] as 100% masculine.

[name_u]Jameson[/name_u] or [name_m]Jamieson[/name_m]?

Neither, I prefer [name_u]Jamison[/name_u].

[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] or [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]?

[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m], although I would love [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Inigo[/name_m].

  • I think [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is lovely!

  • Personally, not a fan of [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], but I would use it over [name_f]Imogene[/name_f].

  • I agree with @lovemysweeties, [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f] doesn’t flow very well. I would go with [name_m]York[/name_m] here.

  • I prefer [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] Sinéad.

  • [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] is a pretty name, though I think [name_u]Gray[/name_u]/[name_u]Grey[/name_u] is more masculine.

  • [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] lookes best, imo.

  • [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] or [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] I pefer [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] to [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], though.

I prefer [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] is beautiful, I’ve never been keen on the [name_f]Imogene[/name_f] pronunciation.
I’m not keen on either middle for [name_f]Savannah[/name_f], but I’d choose [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f]. I’d suggest something like [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f], etc.
I prefer [name_f]Sinead[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f].
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] or [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Yorke[/name_m] would be how I’d pair these. My favourite is [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u].
The [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] spelling seems more instinctive to me, I still pronounce it as [name_m]Jam[/name_m]-eh-sen.
[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] is my favourite of these two.

Well thank you @lovemysweeties, @emmamay and @lawsonhaley
Thank you all for your feedback- most of it is what I want, but not what I am hearing as best -so that’s really really good. Thank you all.
I totally agree about Gray/ Grey being male -it was just easier typing whilst trying to remember my six or so questions - but now I have put Grae, which I stole from “Abby”, it does not look right. I am fed up for now and its best to leave it sit for a while I think -unless anyone offers the solution.
and I still want to use Ariadne
Also does anyone prefer Eva Sinéad ? I get enthusiastic about Pomeline occasionally but it wears off…:frowning:

[name_m]How[/name_m] about using [name_f]Grace[/name_f] instead of [name_u]Gray[/name_u]/[name_u]Grey[/name_u]? Or you can use [name_u]Gray[/name_u]/[name_u]Grey[/name_u], it is in the middle name spots. Middle names are for honoring and names with special meaning. No one really needs to explain middle names to anyone. It is special between parents and child, maybe some close family and friends.

Often times it is best to walk away. Get your mind involved in another activity. Lots of times a person will have a lightbulb moment when they are not even slightly thinking about whatever situation is upsetting/bothering them.

[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f]
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f]
[name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] Sinéad
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]
[name_u]Jameson[/name_u]
[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] (but I also like [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Inigo[/name_m])

I prefer [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], and would prefer [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] (pronounced the same but without the “d” at the end) even more.

I prefer [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f].

[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f] is way more interesting.

Sinéad [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]!

I actually like both [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] AND [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]. If I had to choose I would pick [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]. (I don’t like [name_m]Yorke[/name_m] at all because it reminds me of [name_m]New[/name_m] [name_m]York[/name_m] and Yorkie dogs.)

I prefer [name_u]Jameson[/name_u], but you should be ready for people to associate that with the very popular brand of whiskey. I would personally avoid this name altogether for this reason, but I come from a whiskey family so maybe that’s not a deal breaker for other people.

I like [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], although I would prefer [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] over [name_m]Inigo[/name_m]. Actually, my favorite combo option out of these would be [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m]! What a cool name that would be :).

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Saskia[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] flows a bit better. Agree with @silversky109 that [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] (or [name_f]Rosalin[/name_f]/[name_f]Roselin[/name_f]/[name_f]Roselyn[/name_f]) would also be quite pretty.

[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f].

I like both [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_m]Yorke[/name_m] and [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f]; I think it just depends on whether you prefer the cool, fresh unisex feel of [name_m]Yorke[/name_m] or the classic, feminine feel of [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f] better. I would personally choose [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_m]Yorke[/name_m]; something about it just appeals to me despite that I usually go for more elaborate names.

Sinéad [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] either way: [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] or [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Yorke[/name_m].

[name_u]Jameson[/name_u]. Other posters have mentioned the whiskey association which I was also going to point out, but if you can get past that/if it’s not very well known in your area or family, it’s a very nice name.

I’m partial to [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]!

Thanks again @love my sweeties and to @gildedlioness, @quietlycapernoited & @silversky109. You have all been great. Apart from one or two names -like Elizabeth Yorke - which is someones actually name, I am never remotely happy with my signature. I have never put any time into it before and I am enjoying having some names that I like.
I’ve read posts from new “mamas” who are a little overwhelmed because they are now dealing with ‘real’ babies instead of combos. For me its the opposite. Our children have names for reasons we love and noone is going to criticize them now; but putting combos of names you think sound good for all the world to see is more daunting. Oh well you all have done a good thing helping with my insecurity. Thank you.
