[name_f]Zara[/name_f]
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]

[name_f]Zara[/name_f] is pretty cool, definitely gives me an ‘edgy’ vibe.

I love [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]!

[name_f]Aria[/name_f] is cute, I like the musical meaning.

[name_f]Willow[/name_f] is alright, but I’ve never seen it in a context other than ‘tree/nature names.’ Too whimsical for me, personally.

I actually met a [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] the other day, she was three. It’s a great choice.

Unfortunately I’m of the generation that will always associate [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] with Twilight.

[name_f]Zara[/name_f] 2/10 I like the idea of a Z name but this seems off.
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] 9/10 classic and beautiful.
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] 4/10 too trendy.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] 6/10 still too trendy.
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] 9/10 cute and unique.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] 5/10 pretty but too Twilighty. Prefer as a MN.

Thanks for replying!

About the [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] comment: I am only 17 right now, but I have always liked thinking of baby names etc… I likely won’t be having kids for 8-13 years…
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think the name will still be associated with Twilight by then?

[name_u]LOVE[/name_u]: [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
LIKE: [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_f]Zara[/name_f]
DISLIKE: [name_f]Aria[/name_f]

That’s a really good question, honestly. I’m 21 right now and I picked up Twilight in middle school, when it was first ramping up. At 17 you probably came into the age where it appealed to you when it was already BIG. I think people your age and anywhere near it, plus like 10-15 years older, will always associate the name with the books because of the cultural significance of them in their youth (ie now and five years ago). People younger than you, probably not so much.

It’s not a bad enough connection to justify taking it off the list, in my opinion. Keep it in mind and play it by ear, you are under no obligation to make that choice now.

I think Twilight is old news…I can’t believe people still say ‘it makes me think of Twilight’ to be honest. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is a beautiful name and the association will fade as [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] becomes more popular.

[name_u]Love[/name_u]: [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Zara[/name_f]
Like: [name_f]Willow[/name_f] and [name_f]Aria[/name_f]
Dislike: [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]

[name_f]Zara[/name_f] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u]. Gorgeous, edgy, feminine. This is by far, my favorite off of your list.(9/10)

[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] - It’s a pretty name, though not my fave. Though I do prefer this spelling over [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]! (5/10)

[name_f]Aria[/name_f] - My name is actually [name_f]Aria[/name_f] (I’m 23 for reference). I love my name. I think its beautiful and feel that it suits me very well, but I am SO tired of everyone and their mom using it. Especially since people rarely use it for the Italian/musical or Hebrew definitions of the name and just heard it on Game of Thrones or Pretty [name_m]Little[/name_m] Liars. So, I’m torn. I love my name but will give it a 4/10 because I think it’s just way too trendy right now (excuse me while I cry).

[name_f]Willow[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] how ethereal, light, and nature-y [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is. I personally couldn’t use it, but I still love it (7/10)

[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] - Bouncy, spunky and sweet. I know it’s pretty popular in the UK, but I’m just not quite convinced that this will age well. [name_m]Just[/name_m] seems young/too cute to me. Ironically, this is a pet name my family has for my grandma. (3/10)

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - Sophisticated, elegant, fun. Really like this name! I can see a girl/woman of all ages with this name, it’s familiar but not quite as common (dare I say boring?) as [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! (8/10)

I like [name_f]Zara[/name_f], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. My only concern about [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is that people would think it was [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. That happened to me when I was pregnant with my [name_f]Emma[/name_f]. I mentioned that [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] was on my list and they always thought I said [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. [name_f]Zara[/name_f] is spunky and cool. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is lovely! I’ve only ever known one and she’s almost 30 now.

[name_f]Aria[/name_f] is okay but it feels so trendy! [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is not my style. I want to like [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] but all I think of is the Spanish papi.

I will list them from my favorite to least favorite.

[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f] (it only reminds of the store)

Favourite to Least Favourite:
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] - Reminds me too much of [name_u]Arya[/name_u] [name_m]Stark[/name_m].
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] - More like a nickname for a child than a given name for an adult woman.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] - Dislike.

[name_f]Zara[/name_f]: my favourite of these! Fun, funky and classy with the royal connection.
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]: really lovely, but my concern would be that it would be constantly confused with [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]: really nice, just a shame about the Game of Thrones character who’s making this increasingly popular and trendy.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]: pretty, but again seems a bit trendy.
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]: really popular here in the UK, but I undersand it’s a bit more of a wacky choice in the US. I really like it, I just worry that it doesn’t age very well.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]: very pretty and girly if you like that sort of thing. I personally prefer the spunkier [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f].

Honest opinions…

[name_f]Zara[/name_f]- I don’t like this name. It doesn’t feel fresh.
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]- Starting to come around to this name, it feels completely different than [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. More eastern European feeling? Which is appealing.
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]- I don’t know your location, but Pretty [name_m]Little[/name_m] Liars is an immediate connection for me.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]- I absolutely love [name_f]Willow[/name_f]. It’s soft, sweet, and fresh. Everything I wish to imagine when I picture a baby girl.
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]- [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is very sweet. I like this as well. It feels more cutesy than [name_f]Willow[/name_f], though. I feel like [name_f]Willow[/name_f] might age better than [name_f]Poppy[/name_f].
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]- This is one of the classics that I simply love.

First let me say that I love all of these names - so much

[name_f]Zara[/name_f] - This is my 2nd favorite of the bunch. It’s such a unique, sweet name.
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] - This is my favorite (actually my top name, too!) I just think it’s so beautiful - on paper and verbally.
[name_f]Aria[/name_f] - I love it, but it is definitely gaining popularity (GOT). Not sure if that will bother you or not.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] how soft this name sounds. So pretty.
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] - My least favorite of the bunch, but I still like it. I think it sounds a little childish (just thinking ahead)
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - Classic and pretty/
