Opinions on these boys' names?

Re-evaluating my list. I’d love comments/opinions on these 5 names.

[name_m]Declan[/name_m]
[name_u]Emery[/name_u]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]

[name_m]Declan[/name_m]-very handsome. I like [name_m]Declan[/name_m], it’s not too common but it’s not unusual either

[name_u]Emery[/name_u]-not a fan. I prefer [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] (Which I love)

[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]-[name_u]Love[/name_u] love love!!! I love [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]. It sounds so cool, and it has great history

[name_m]Jack[/name_m]-not a fan. It’s overused and I just don’t see the appeal. [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] is slightly better but not much

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]-love again!!! This is definitely masculine, and on a boy I think it’s so handsome. [name_m]Roman[/name_m] and [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] are also great

thank you!

[name_m]Declan[/name_m] - Not my favorite and getting too popular in my area.
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] - I like this a lot. Not too popular yet very stylish.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] - This is my favorite of your 5. It has a cool vibe with a sophisticated flair.
[name_m]Jack[/name_m]- Also, ultra popular…but I like it!
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - This is a great unisex name. I know 1 boy and 2 girls with this one.

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - I love [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]! I can’t use it because a family member already did. It’s a great sweet spot name in my opinion - not too popular but not totally unheard of. It’s a masculine name in my opinion & down to earth and sweet.
[name_m]Declan[/name_m] - This is becoming more trendy I think but it is still a good, solid Irish boy name.
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] - Although this is pretty popular, it is such a great classic name. I really love it despite that I probably wouldn’t mind use it because it’s a bit too popular and classic for me.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] - I’m not totally sold on [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], maybe it’s just not my style. It seems like one of those names that everyone thinks is cool and different and that might become super popular in the future.
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] - This is my least favorite. It seems better for a girl and comes off a bit made up or something.

[name_m]Declan[/name_m] - I love this one. It’s handsome and recognizable but not too common, and it has a really pleasant sound.
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] - I actually like the sound of [name_u]Emery[/name_u] but somehow it doesn’t fit well on a boy to me. I’d prefer it on a girl.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] - cute name! Not really my style, but it definitely has an interesting sound, and it’s a classic.
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] - I love the name [name_m]Jack[/name_m]; it’s classic and handsome, but not in the top 20 which is nice.
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is a nice name, it has a really lovely sound to it. I love the name [name_u]Owen[/name_u] which is similar.

[name_m]Declan[/name_m] - great name, stands out/fits in balance

[name_u]Emery[/name_u] - so handsome on paper, sounds like “[name_u]Emory[/name_u] board” when I say it out loud

[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] - love this name, love it

[name_m]Jack[/name_m] - another classic, very likable

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - in the same camp as [name_m]Declan[/name_m], great name, but I prefer [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] much more

My favorite from the list is [name_m]Jack[/name_m], classic.

[name_m]Declan[/name_m] - it’s grown on me as its popularity has recently increased a bit, especially since I’ve learned how to pronounce it (I was saying “[name_f]Dee[/name_f]-Clan”).

[name_u]Emery[/name_u] - i think I’ve heard this or [name_u]Emory[/name_u] more with girls recently, so something to consider, not sure if just a unisex name that that will be normal to hear for both.

[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] - I like it, it’s grown in popularity too recently.

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - again, like, it captures a uniqueness that hasn’t gotten full steam popular (at least yet).

[name_m]Declan[/name_m] - I love this! It’s in my own top 10. I have heard that it has no definable meaning, but one of the meanings I’ve seen bantered about is “full of goodness”, which I love so very much. I would love to have a little [name_m]Declan[/name_m]!
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] - I like it quite well, but I’m not sure I’d ever commit to it. I can’t see me with an [name_u]Emery[/name_u] but I’d like to meet one.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] - I like it a lot, but can’t ever commit to it up front. I’m thinking about [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] or [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_m]Pacificus[/name_m] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] right now…
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] - love! I know it’s so mega popular in all the English-speaking countries, but [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is so darling. I would love to have a [name_m]Jack[/name_m].
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - also love! If he’s not in my top 5, he’s mighty, mighty close. I would love to have a little [name_u]Rowan[/name_u].

I absolutely adore [name_m]Declan[/name_m], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] equally, so I’m not sure I can really pick. haha. I love your taste!

[name_m]Declan[/name_m] - I like it! Its cute. Ages well too.
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] - Probs my least favorite. It’s cute but I can’t really imagine an older [name_u]Emery[/name_u]. Nothing wrong with it though.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] - [name_u]Love[/name_u]!
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] - Simple but still a lovely name and very handsome. I imagine a [name_m]Jack[/name_m] to be a shy, friendly boy for some reason.
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - Loveee [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]! I see it on girls so often now and it makes me sad because I much prefer it for a boy. Plus the NN [name_f]Ro[/name_f] is adorable.

I love [name_m]Declan[/name_m] but have not put it on my own list due to uncertainty about nicknames.
I like [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] for the literary connotations and the ‘z’ in the middle that makes it unusual without it being a Z name. I do wonder if it’s a bit celebrity trendy though?
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] is cute and as a teacher, I think it’s not really as common as it seems, either.
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is my favourite of them all. I would use this name in a heartbeat, but for some reason my husband hates it, although he can’t articulate why, so that doesn’t help you!
I don’t really like [name_u]Emery[/name_u] for the same reason as the poster above…my first thought is emory board!

[name_u]Emery[/name_u] ~ very cute, one of my favorite unisex name for boys
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] ~ close runner up, it has an “old turned new again” feel
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] ~ good nn but feels incomplete, I prefer [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] ~ this spelling seems girly to me, I like [name_u]Roan[/name_u] for boys
[name_m]Declan[/name_m] ~ least favorite, sounds harsh and clunky

“[name_m]Jack[/name_m]” that is a very cool name . i personally like it. if you wan, then go for it.

[name_u]Emery[/name_u] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] , both are the cool and sexy names as well words. can any one tell me the name of any website that consist of lots of words with proper meanings. actually i want to complete my son’s work assignment provided by his school based on variation of words with useful meaning. please help.

yes i know about one website which consist words with their proper meaning. because my niece got same work assignment like this from her school as well. but i don’t exactly know that website is helpful for you or not?? but you can try atleast. if that is useful for you, then go for it otherwise go for another options.

[QUOTE=splinteredruler;3382119]Re-evaluating my list. I’d love comments/opinions on these 5 names.

[name_m]Declan[/name_m]
[name_u]Emery[/name_u]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u][/QUOTE)

[name_m]Declan[/name_m] is appealing, though maybe it is becoming over-used?
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] is fine, though I prefer the [name_u]Emory[/name_u] spelling. Soft yet strong sounding with a collegiate appeal.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] is a fine and beautiful classic, though again it seems to have surged in popularity.
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] I love, but ditto [name_m]Declan[/name_m] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] re: surge.
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] I don’t like much, but I love [name_u]Roan[/name_u] for a boy.

Actually these are all really good choices, can’t go wrong with’em.

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - one of my favourites. It is a great unisex name - familiar yet not too popular. I also like [name_m]Rowe[/name_m] as a nickname.
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] - [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is a classic. I don’t care that it’s too popular, it’s still one of my favourites.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] - I quite like it, it is a strong Bible name
[name_m]Declan[/name_m] - not a fan, kids can come up with an unwanted nickname
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] - I find it too feminine

[name_m]Declan[/name_m] - I think I like it. I’m still a bit unsure. It’s nice but it feels too modern/trendy to me. Overall, I can say it has grown on me…
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] - Not my style.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]. Short, simple but charming! It has a romantic feel to it but it’s still strong enough.
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] as well! Timeless, short and strong!
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - Also [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]! [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is modern but familiar. It’s trendy but not too trendy. It’s strong but soft. It’s a good mix of sensations!

[name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] are some of my favorites names for boys! [name_u]Love[/name_u] them!
