Opinions on these girl names?

[name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Kendall[/name]
[name]Ireland[/name]
[name]Odette[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name]
Avarie
[name]Kylie[/name]

[name]Beatrice[/name] - I like this name. [name]Bea[/name] is a gorgeous NN
[name]Kendall[/name] - strongly dislike. It’s not feminine to me.
[name]Ireland[/name] - [name]One[/name] of my secret favourites. [name]Love[/name] it.
[name]Odette[/name] - another favourite. [name]Odette[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] would be a great combo. [name]Odessa[/name], [name]Orlaith[/name], [name]Odelia[/name] I also like.
[name]Eleanor[/name] - love  [name]Nell[/name] and [name]Nora[/name] are great NN. [name]Lenore[/name] I probably like just a bit more.
Avarie - dislike
[name]Kylie[/name] - very 80s. [name]Don[/name]'t like it.

These split into some pretty distinct categories- [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Odette[/name], and [name]Eleanor[/name] are classics, while [name]Kendal[/name], [name]Ireland[/name], Avarie, and [name]Kylie[/name] are modern coinages/borrowings.

[name]Eleanor[/name]- still has a slightly old fashioned feel to it, but it’s top 100 or 200 everywhere in the English-speaking world, so it’s not a controversial choice. Lots of great nicknames to choose from.
[name]Beatrice[/name]- still feels old-fashioned, especially in [name]North[/name] [name]America[/name], but it’s definitely gaining ground. There are lots of picturebooks featuring girls called [name]Bea[/name] or [name]Beatrice[/name].
[name]Odette[/name]- the most unusual of your classic options, but familiar as the White Swan from Swan [name]Lake[/name]. O is a stylish first letter at the moment, too.

[name]Kendal[/name] and [name]Ireland[/name] are both place names and surnames, relatively recently given to girls in the US (they’re not/very seldom used in [name]Britain[/name] and [name]Ireland[/name]). [name]Kendall[/name] feels a little dated, but the SSA numbers say it’s still rising as a girl’s name.

Avarie seems like a needless alternative spelling for the highly popular [name]Avery[/name]. If you want to use ‘[name]Ava[/name]’ as a nickname for [name]Avery[/name], it’s okay to spell it ‘[name]Avery[/name]’. The constant hassle of explaining [name]Avery[/name]-but-spelled-A-V-A-R-I-E would annoy me, but then I’m lazy

[name]Kylie[/name]- one of the many cute ‘lee’ names spawned in the 70s and 80s, [name]Kylie[/name]'s familiar and that’s the familiar spelling, so it would also be a safe choice. However, I do think it gets a little lost in the thousands upon thousands of women named [name]Kylie[/name]/[name]Kyla[/name]/[name]Kaylee[/name]/[name]Kayla[/name]/[name]Keeley[/name]/[name]Kelly[/name] in the last 35 years; plus [name]Riley[/name]/[name]Briley[/name]/[name]Miley[/name]…

If this is a list of your favourite names and his favourite names, I think your best option is probably [name]Eleanor[/name]: it’s a classic name, but has lots of modern-sounding nicknames like [name]Ellie[/name] and [name]Nora[/name].

[name]Love[/name]:
[name]Beatrice[/name]…such a lovely choice!
[name]Eleanor[/name]…so beautiful and classic, you can’t go wrong.

Like:
[name]Odette[/name]…this is cute. Maybe you’d also like [name]Colette[/name]? [name]Cosette[/name]?
[name]Avery[/name] (this spelling only)

Dislike:
[name]Kendall[/name]…I just hear “[name]Ken[/name] [name]Doll[/name]”. I also think it’s quite out of date, and not very pretty!
[name]Ireland[/name]…I’m not fond of place names. If you love [name]Ireland[/name], why not look into Irish names for girls?
Avarie…I like [name]Avery[/name], but I don’t like this creative spelling. It’s as if you couldn’t choose between [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Avery[/name].
[name]Kylie[/name]…again, I think it’s out of date. What about [name]Kyla[/name]?

Suggestions for you: [name]Felicity[/name], [name]Natalie[/name], [name]Bethany[/name], [name]Aubrey[/name], [name]Audrey[/name], [name]Verity[/name], [name]Delaney[/name], [name]Freya[/name], [name]Imogen[/name], [name]Tessa[/name], [name]Gemma[/name], [name]Nola[/name], [name]Nova[/name], [name]Harper[/name]…

Lots of potential here on your list! You have very eclectic style, which I think is great.

[name]Beatrice[/name] - I love this softer and more feminine version of [name]Beatrix[/name] (which is popular on NB). I love the potential nn’s [name]Bea[/name], [name]Trish[/name], [name]Trixie[/name]
[name]Kendall[/name] - nms.
[name]Ireland[/name] - I’m not huge on country names for people. however, while nms there is something alluring about the thought of [name]Ireland[/name].
[name]Odette[/name] - love it though I worry about using the nn [name]Etta[/name] because it leaves the word Od(d) in front. Which could turn into Odd [name]Etta[/name]. But then I’m fairly certain I’m over thinking it.
[name]Eleanor[/name] - so elegant. however not a fan of nn [name]Ellie[/name].
Avarie - I prefer [name]Avery[/name] and for a boy. Clearly I love the sound of the name.
[name]Kylie[/name] - I hear Kylely. I know it’s not spelled that way but I just keep thinking someone named their son and discovered they had a daughter instead so tacked on the ly ending to make it girly.

[name]Beatrice[/name] – [name]Beatrice[/name] is a love of mine. I like the nn [name]Bea[/name] ([name]Bay[/name]-ah)
[name]Kendall[/name] – I actually don’t mind this one, but it’s very tied to [name]Kendall[/name] Jenner at the moment, the Kardashian younger sister
[name]Ireland[/name] – There’s a celebrity baby named this I think. I don’t mind it either. It’s different without being weird, [name]IMO[/name].
[name]Odette[/name] – I know there is a NB love affair with this name, but I don’t get it. I looks pretty on paper, but the sound just doesn’t do it for me.
[name]Eleanor[/name] – Another [name]LOVE[/name] of mine. I prefer [name]Elinor[/name], but either way, I think it’s beautiful
Avarie – I prefer [name]Avery[/name], but I like it.
[name]Kylie[/name] – Another Kardashian younger sister. It’s a name I think might be hard to wear into adulthood.

I like [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Odette[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Kylie[/name]. They’re all fine to use.

[name]Kendall[/name] is a place in the [name]Lake[/name] District. They make a famous energy bar for mountain climbers called [name]Kendall[/name] Mint Cake. This is what I hear when I think of it. [name]Ireland[/name] is a country and sounds as daft to my ears as naming someone Swaziland. Neither are human names in my opinion.

[name]Avery[/name], however you spell it, is a boys name.

Overall my favourite is [name]Odette[/name] with [name]Eleanor[/name] coming a close second : )

[name]Beatrice[/name] - my favorite on your list. I love this name and agree that [name]Bea[/name] is a gorgeous nn.
[name]Kendall[/name] - I used to love this name but I’ve sort of outgrown it. Still, it’s one of the only gender neutral names I do like.
[name]Ireland[/name] - I love the place but I don’t know how I feel about it as a name unless it’s on a redhead. For place names I prefer [name]India[/name].
[name]Odette[/name] - cute; it reminds me of the Swan [name]Princess[/name].
[name]Eleanor[/name] - a lovely, classic (and classy) choice.
[name]Avery[/name] - sorry but I hate kre8ive spellings. It looks illiterate. But spelled like this I like the name quite a bit. It has a very silvery, tinkly sound and feel.
[name]Kylie[/name] - nms it sounds very trendy and not something that would age well.

I like [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Odette[/name]. [name]Kendall[/name] and [name]Avery[/name] are both boys names (and changing the spelling doesn’t change that), [name]Kylie[/name] is trendy and cutesy and [name]Ireland[/name] doesn’t sound like a name to me. I agree that maybe you should look into irish names if you love [name]Ireland[/name]. A lot of them are really lovely.

Suggestions:
[name]Aoife[/name] (Ee-fa. It’s the irish form of [name]Eva[/name].)
[name]Olive[/name]/[name]Olivia[/name]
[name]Michaela[/name]
[name]Stella[/name]
[name]Danielle[/name]
[name]Niamh[/name] (Another irish name. Pronounced [name]NEVE[/name].)

[name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Odette[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name] are beautiful names. Personally, I’d avoid [name]Eleanor[/name] though just because I dislike the nickname [name]Ellie[/name].

[name]Kendall[/name] and [name]Kylie[/name] aren’t great [name]IMO[/name]. I find [name]Kendall[/name] very masculine and [name]Kylie[/name] a little dated.

[name]Ireland[/name] doesn’t work as a name for me, while Avarie is a bad spelling choice but I just love [name]Avery[/name] on a boy.

[name]Beatrice[/name] - never been a fan myself, but I see the appeal.
[name]Kendall[/name] - Isn’t this one of the younger Kardashian sisters? (I think [name]Kylie[/name] is as well now that I think of it). This may be a good thing or bad thing depending on your opinions. Going on the name in general and not it’s associations - I’m not a huge fan. It is a little too trendy and boyish to me. In fact, I know a male [name]Kendall[/name].
[name]Ireland[/name] - I want to like this, but it just seems dated to me for some reason. And what if she ever lived in [name]Ireland[/name]? [name]How[/name] silly. But I suppose if I ever named a daughter [name]Charlotte[/name] she could someday live in [name]Charlotte[/name], NC…
[name]Odette[/name] - Very cute. I like it, though I don’t think I would use it - I’m not brave enough. Someone else be brave enough! Haha.
[name]Eleanor[/name] - [name]Love[/name]. I really like the [name]Elinor[/name] spelling like in Sense & Sensibility.
Avarie - I don’t like this one at all. It just seems like a really weird spelling of [name]Avery[/name], which I love.
[name]Kylie[/name] - Soft spot because [name]Kylee[/name] is my neice’s name, but it is very popular and trendy - but pretty if those don’t bother you

Favorites: [name]Eleanor[/name] and [name]Odette[/name]
Least Faves: Avarie and [name]Kendall[/name]

[name]Beatrice[/name]- I like this. It is such a nice, strong name and I like all the nn’s.
[name]Kendall[/name]- Meh on this name. It isn’t the worst name. I don’t really like the [name]Ken[/name] names for girls, it just reminds me of the male [name]Ken[/name] doll. So it just always seems masculine to me, even though it isn’t always masculine.
[name]Ireland[/name]- I don’t think there is a celebrity baby with this name currently. I do know [name]Alec[/name] [name]Baldwin[/name] has a teen daughter with this name though. It has appeal and I like it more than [name]Scotland[/name] as a name.
[name]Odette[/name]- Pretty. I think of the swan lake, of course and I like that reference. I know a lot of others don’t like it though.
[name]Eleanor[/name]- This is one of my favorite classic names. I don’t really like the [name]Ell[/name] type nn’s, I prefer the [name]Nora[/name] nn. That is just me though.
Avarie- Meh, I would prefer [name]Ava[/name]. To me this is just reminds me of Ovary, but I am weird so that probably isn’t the first thought for everyone.
[name]Kylie[/name]- This is okay. This seems to be the traditional spelling so I like that. I would prefer having this as a nn, if it was possible?

[name]Beatrice[/name]- I love this! But I think it would be better in the middle name spot.
[name]Kendall[/name]- I like this but it seems a bit 90’s.
[name]Ireland[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name] this. Totally underused place name.
[name]Odette[/name]- Interesting, I like it a lot!!
[name]Eleanor[/name]- Beautiful, I’ve always loved this name. You could call her [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Elle[/name], [name]Nora[/name], [name]Lea[/name], [name]Lena[/name], [name]Nell[/name]
Avarie- I don’t like unusual spellings
[name]Kylie[/name]- So many Kaylas/Kylies/Kaylees/Katies/Kinleys/Kelleys out there, I don’t like it

My favorites are [name]Ireland[/name], [name]Odette[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name]. If I had to pick it would be [name]Odette[/name]!!

[name]Beatrice[/name]- I really love this name. I think [name]Bea[/name] is a great nickname
[name]Kendall[/name]- its okay
[name]Ireland[/name]- love the place but not too sure on it being a name
[name]Odette[/name]- I think of swan lake whenever I think of this, but otherwise its a really pretty name
[name]Eleanor[/name]- one of my favorites
[name]Averie[/name]- not a big fan either way you spell it
[name]Kylie[/name]- I actually kind of like this name
