Opinions on these girl names?

I’d love to hear what you think of these names.

[name]Emmalyn[/name]
Alexanne
[name]Guinevere[/name]
[name]Juniper[/name]
Maizy
[name]Shea[/name]
[name]Francesca[/name]
[name]Faye[/name]
[name]Fifer[/name]
Brekka
[name]Camden[/name]
[name]Logan[/name]
[name]Samara[/name]

[name]Emmalyn[/name] - I feel like it’s too soft. What about [name]Emmaline[/name]?
Alexanne - I don’t really like smoosh names.
[name]Guinevere[/name] - Depending on where you live, this name might have some mispronounciation
[name]Juniper[/name] - I like it a lot, it’s a nice alternative to the more popular [name]June[/name] or [name]Juno[/name]
Maizy - I don’t like this, it reminds me of corn ([name]Maize[/name]). What about [name]Moxie[/name] or Maicie?
[name]Shea[/name] - I like this but it reminds me of [name]Shea[/name] Butter. What about [name]Shay[/name]?
[name]Francesca[/name] - My favorite feminization name. I love it. I love the more unisex [name]Frankie[/name] nickname.
[name]Faye[/name] - Very pretty, I like it as a middle name.
[name]Fifer[/name] - I prefer [name]Piper[/name].
Brekka - I don’t like this one, it’s just too strange. I would go with [name]Becca[/name] or [name]Beccah[/name].
[name]Camden[/name] - Pretty cool, I see it as more of a boys name.
[name]Logan[/name] - I like this unisex name, but it’s so popular as a boys name, it might not work as a girls name.
[name]Samara[/name] - Makes me think of The [name]Ring[/name]!

[name]Emmalyn[/name] - [name]Just[/name] okay. Not a huge fan of smoosh names.
Alexanne - [name]Don[/name]'t care for it. Again, not a huge fan of smoosh names, and this one seems less legit than [name]Emmalyn[/name].
[name]Guinevere[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it! Classic, beautiful, and timeless.
[name]Juniper[/name] - I think it’s cute. While it’s trendy, I have yet to meet an actual baby with this name but I would love to.
Maizy - I think this is cute also, but I prefer the [name]Maisy[/name] spelling.
[name]Shea[/name] - Sweet and simple. While not my style, I like it on others.
[name]Francesca[/name] - A little too froo froo for me.
[name]Faye[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this one! A nifty, old-school name.
[name]Fifer[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t care for it. Seems like a [name]Piper[/name] wannabee.
Brekka - This one confuses me. It seems maybe Swedish? But I don’t care for the double k’s, the sound, or the look of it in print.
[name]Camden[/name] - Not a fan. Very [name]New[/name] [name]Jersey[/name].
[name]Logan[/name] - For a girl? I could see it work, but don’t love it.
[name]Samara[/name] - It’s okay. I don’t have an opinion either way.

[name]Emmalyn[/name] - Meh, just okay. Not usually a fan of -lyn names.
Alexanne - Not into smoosh names.
[name]Guinevere[/name] - magnificent and all, but a bit too grand for me.
[name]Juniper[/name] - too cutesy
Maizy - (see ‘[name]Juniper[/name]’)
[name]Shea[/name] - I know a gal named [name]Shea[/name]. Seems like a fun, short, and sweet name. I kind of like it, but wouldn’t use it personally.
[name]Francesca[/name] - Like it, but a bit too similar to [name]Frances[/name], which is the name of my BF’s mother. Not a bad thing, I just don’t want people thinking I’m honoring a person who is still alive. (it goes against my honoring rule)
[name]Faye[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it! Seems like it’s my go-to middle name these days.
[name]Fifer[/name] - Doesn’t sound appealing to me, makes me think of buck teeth and speech impediments for some reason.
Brekka - too similar to the [name]German[/name] word for “to throw up; vomit”.
[name]Camden[/name] - too masculine for me. For reference, it’s okay on a boy to me.
[name]Logan[/name] - I once had a classmate named [name]Logan[/name] (who was a girl), it just seemed out of place on her. [name]Don[/name]'t like it on a girl.
[name]Samara[/name] - too similar to [name]Samantha[/name], a name I have bad associations with. Had it not been for that, I probably would like it a little.

Thanks for the feedback! I also would like to add the name Kimberline to the list for opinions.

[name]Emmalyn[/name] - I much prefer [name]Emmeline[/name].
Alexanne -
[name]Guinevere[/name] - love this one. Other suggestions: [name]Gwendolen[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Juniper[/name] - This has grown on me lately. A nice distinctive nature name.
Maizy - I don’t care for nn names
[name]Shea[/name] - ok, but prefer this on a boy
[name]Francesca[/name] - beautiful and girly
[name]Faye[/name] - like it. underrated
[name]Fifer[/name] - I really don’t like this. [name]Piper[/name] would be a better alternative.
Brekka - too much like a nn for [name]Rebecca[/name]
[name]Camden[/name] - hate this one
[name]Logan[/name] - don’t care for unisex names
[name]Samara[/name] - pretty. also like [name]Mara[/name] and [name]Samaya[/name]
Kimberline - don’t like [name]Kim[/name] names

[name]Emmalyn[/name]- Ok. Prefer [name]Emmeline[/name]
Alexanne - Eh, NMS. Prefer [name]Alexandria[/name], [name]Alexandra[/name], or even the French [name]Alexandrie[/name]/[name]Alexandrine[/name]
[name]Guinevere[/name] - It’s grown on me. Reminds me of a medieval [name]Princess[/name]
[name]Juniper[/name] - NMS. It’s cute but I couldn’t picture it on a grown woman
Maizy - Spelled [name]Maisy[/name] or [name]Maisie[/name] I think its cute, especially as an nn to [name]Margot[/name] or [name]Margaret[/name]. Maizy looks like [name]Maize[/name] (corn) and looks harsh
[name]Shea[/name] - Guilty pleasure name for a girl pronounced “[name]Shay[/name]”
[name]Francesca[/name]- [name]Love[/name]!
[name]Faye[/name] - NMS. Reminds me of feo (Spanish for ugly)
[name]Fifer[/name] - It’s grown on me. Its a very spunky name.
Brekka - Sounds funny to me
[name]Camden[/name] - Cute on a little BOY. What about [name]Camilla[/name]?
[name]Logan[/name] - ditto [name]Camden[/name]. What about [name]Rowan[/name]? [name]Love[/name] that on a girl
[name]Samara[/name]- NMS, but its nice.
Kimberline- doesn’t sound right to me, like your trying to hard to make [name]Kimmy[/name]'s name unique. I’d stick with plain [name]Kimberly[/name] or go with a classic “[name]Line[/name]” name like [name]Adeline[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Coraline[/name], [name]Madeline[/name], [name]Rosaline[/name]…

My favorite from your list is [name]Francesca[/name]. Classical, feminine, and has literary connections.

Kimberline looks (sounds?) like timberline/ timber line, which is the edge of a habitat where trees are able to grow.

[name]Violet[/name] [name]Gray[/name]- I love the name [name]Rowan[/name] for a girl! I always thought of it as just for boys, but I like it!

[name]Emmalyn[/name] - it’s OK. I adore [name]Emmeline[/name]
Alexanne - once again, OK. prefer most other [name]Alex[/name]- names
[name]Guinevere[/name] - nice, not really my style
[name]Juniper[/name] - really like, [name]Junie[/name] is so sweet
Maizy - this spelling reminds me of [name]Maize[/name]. not a fan. [name]Love[/name] [name]Maisie[/name] though.
[name]Shea[/name] - really nms
[name]Francesca[/name] - love! great.
[name]Faye[/name] - dated
[name]Fifer[/name] - hmmm; maybe, for a boy?
Brekka - horrible, sorry.
[name]Camden[/name] - on a boy, yes, I like
[name]Logan[/name] - nms
[name]Samara[/name] - nice

Now that I see it, I definitely like it spelled [name]Emmeline[/name] and the name [name]Shea[/name] spelled [name]Shay[/name]

[name]Emmalyn[/name]- Like it! Though I prefer [name]Emmaline[/name] spelling, or [name]Emmeline[/name].
Alexanne- Not sure. certainly not my favourite [name]Alex[/name]- name…
[name]Guinevere[/name]- Strong and classy. I love it.
[name]Juniper[/name]- Cute.
Maizy- don’t like it at all.
[name]Shea[/name]- I love [name]Shea[/name].
[name]Francesca[/name]- Pretty and classic.
[name]Faye[/name]- I like [name]Faye[/name], but mostly as a mn.
[name]Fifer[/name]- ? Prefer [name]Piper[/name].
Brekka- dislike.
[name]Camden[/name]- not for girl.
[name]Logan[/name]- same as above.
[name]Samara[/name]- okay.

Kimberline, eh? I imagine it is pronounced with a “line” ending as opposed to “lyn”. Not really into it; it’s not horrible or anything, just sort of there and blah.

Alexanne only as a nn to [name]Alexandra[/name] or [name]Alexandria[/name]
[name]Guinevere[/name] : ) - is my fav on your list nn Gweny and [name]Gwen[/name] or [name]Guinevere[/name] when she is older, great name my friends daughter has this name, she is 1 now and goes by Gweny, they love it.

My fav right now is [name]Genevieve[/name] so many nick names its awesome!
