Opinions on these girls' names?

Re-evaluating my list. I’d love comments/opinions on these 10 names (also their proposed nicknames if you’re so inclined!).

[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f] (nn. “[name_f]Aria[/name_f]”)
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (nn. “[name_f]Evie[/name_f]”)
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u]
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] (nn. “[name_f]Addie[/name_f]”)
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]

Hello! Here is my evaluation.
[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f]- a very nice name, but not heard too often, at least in my experience. I think [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] is under appreciated. 7/10
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f] (nn. “[name_f]Aria[/name_f]”)- also a very nice name, but heard too often in my opinion. I think I’m just getting tired of the -bella names which sound singsongy to me. Nickname [name_f]Aria[/name_f] is inspired, however. 6/10
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - also a great name, but I am so very tired of it. I’ve warmed up to it a little now, but perhaps only because I recently finished “Revenge” on Netflix, and was very invested in the characters. 4/10
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (nn. “[name_f]Evie[/name_f]”) - [name_u]Love[/name_u] love love! [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is a fantastic name. It’s high on my own list. I see it as friendly, gorgeous, classy, but also versatile. 10/10
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] - I have a soft spot for [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]. It’s a little on the trendy side, but I think it has a vintage feel in some respects. I think it sounds very bubbly and wearable. 8/10
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - I have nothing against [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], but I do prefer it spelt with an a, but that’s splitting hairs. It’s a pretty name in any spelling, but too common for my taste. 6/10
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - I really like [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], it comes with nice nicknames and sounds so dainty and feminine. On my own list I have [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] nn [name_f]Jette[/name_f]. I know it’s become popular, but I think the popularity seems well dispersed, but I have yet to meet a [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] in real life. I do sometimes overthink pronouncing it - JOOL-ee-ette or jool-ee–ETTE.7/10
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] (nn. “[name_f]Addie[/name_f]”) - I really enjoy [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], but I have doubts that [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] could ever avoid being called [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]. That tarnishes the shine of the name for me. I think nn [name_f]Addie[/name_f] would be a battle to fight, but if you love the name, it might be worth fighting. 8/10
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] - another favorite of mine! [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] is delightful. Short form [name_u]Romy[/name_u] is to die for, and the name is overall very energetic and a little mysterious. I’m a big fan, especially when [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] is paired with a girly middle. 8/10
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] - I give props to [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] for being very popular but always sounding fresh. There’s no over abundance of Scarletts. It’s on my own list, with the nickname [name_u]Scout[/name_u] to liven it up. [name_u]Red[/name_u] is my favorite color so its meaning is alluring and the imagery divine. I would never be disappointed to see this on a beautiful little girl. 7/10

Great list! My style is typically more unusual, but of the classic names that have made my list, many of them are reflected on your list as well.

Oh my Gosh!! I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] all those names! I’m going to copy what the last poster did and rate each name.
[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f]: this name is probably my least favourite name on your list. 3/10

[name_f]Arabella[/name_f]: this is such a beautiful name which actually means beautiful or something like that. I’m not to fussed on the nickname “[name_f]Aria[/name_f]” though. 10/10

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]: this is such a sweet name that ages well and is truly timeless. 7.5/10

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: I like this name but not loving it. It is pretty and sweet but something about it isn’t working for me. However I think this name would like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] age well. 7/10

[name_u]Hadley[/name_u]: This name makes me think of a spunky mischievous girl. I think it is underused and is great because it’s not as popular as [name_f]Hayley[/name_f]. 7/10

[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]: beautiful. That is all I’m good to say. Perfect. [name_u]Truly[/name_u] one timeless. 10/10

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]: this name has recently become one of my favourites. It is very feminine but I don’t think it’s super girly. 10/10

[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]: this is a really pretty name. Perfect for a little girl but I’m not to fond of it on older people. However the nickname [name_f]Maddy[/name_f] is sweet. 7/10

[name_f]Romilly[/name_f]: haven’t heard this name before. It’s quite nice and uncommon. It’s got a ring to it. 6/10

[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]: this is another one of my favourites on your list. I don’t know why but I seem to like names that are colours (eg. [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_u]Indigo[/name_u]). Not super common earlier so that’s a bonus. 8/10
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this is helpful

Great list! Here’s my input:

[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] - Personally I have trouble getting past the [name_m]Rocky[/name_m] reference, which is too bad because it’s really a nice name.

[name_f]Arabella[/name_f] (nn. “[name_f]Aria[/name_f]”) - Least favorite on your list. Feels a little frilly as compared to the rest.

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - A classic!

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (nn. “[name_f]Evie[/name_f]”) - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this, and especially the nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I’m surprised [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] hasn’t caught on more in recent years (maybe the tricky spelling holds it back?)

[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] - I know a few little Hadleys 5 and under, so I think this one is a tad trendy, but I still like the sound.

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - Another classic, and I like this shorter spelling variation. I also prefer the full name to the nn [name_f]Belle[/name_f] or [name_u]Izzy[/name_u], it’s such a pretty name in itself.

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - A serious contender on our list at one time. I slightly prefer the [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] spelling to soften it since it has a hard ending sound, but I do still love this name.

[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] (nn. “[name_f]Addie[/name_f]”) - I’d go with the [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] spelling; makes me think of the children’s books I loved

[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] - A personal favorite of mine! It has echoes of the ever-popular [name_f]Emily[/name_f] but feels fresh, and the nn [name_u]Romy[/name_u] is adorable.

[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] - This one is really popular in my part of the country (along with [name_f]Stella[/name_f]) and it’s never been my favorite. I much prefer [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] for the “ending in -t” sound name.

[name_u]Love[/name_u]:

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]

[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] - neutral
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f] - neutral ([name_f]Aria[/name_f] - love)
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - adore (adore nicknames [name_f]Totty[/name_f] and [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]/[name_f]Lotte[/name_f])
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - neutral ([name_f]Evie[/name_f]- adore, [name_f]Evvie[/name_f] - adore more)
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] - love
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - adore
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - neutral
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] - adore ([name_f]Addie[/name_f] - neutral)
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] - neutral
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] - not fond of Scralett

What a lovely collection!

[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] - I grew up with an [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f], exactly this spelling, who was actually a very masculine [name_m]Man[/name_m], and a Close [name_m]Friend[/name_m] and Colleague of my Dad’s, so I find it really hard to imagine on a Girl, sorry!

[name_f]Arabella[/name_f]*(nn. “[name_f]Aria[/name_f]”) - The Name of my Youngest Daughter so I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] and think [name_f]Aria[/name_f] is a GORGEOUS idea for a Nickname if you can get people to stop calling her [name_f]Bella[/name_f]! [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] is heard a LOT (TOO MUCH) on Nameberry, but we have never met another [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] and she and I are constantly getting compliments from people, many of whom have never heard the Name before!

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - Bad personal experiences with 5 awful Charlottes have put me off this Name for life, sorry!

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]*(nn. “[name_f]Evie[/name_f]”) - ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE Name and Nickname!! Delicate, feminine and very beautiful!

[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] - [name_m]Just[/name_m] too Modern and Surnamey for me, sorry.

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - I really only love [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], sorry, but it sounds lovely!

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - A lovely, romantic Name! My [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] has a Dear [name_m]Friend[/name_m] called [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] who is a vibrant, bubbly, imaginative, beautiful, brunette Tomboy! [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] would make a GORGEOUS Sibset!

[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]*(nn. “[name_f]Addie[/name_f]”) - The First Name I ever fell in love with!! <3 Strong yet Feminine and very beautiful and romantic! Trying to find a decent Nickname is the hardest thing and Addie is much nicer than Maddie or Mads, if you can get people to use it!

Romilly - Romilly is utterly DELIGHTFUL!! Delicate, Feminine (despite its origins) and a refreshing surprise every time I see or hear it!! Personally I adore the Nickname Milly!

My favorites on your list are [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] “[name_f]Addie[/name_f]”, and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]. These three just stick out to me as being really bold and pretty!

Good luck!

[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] are my absolute favorites. [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] would be gorgeous.

I love Geneviève but only pronounced the [name_m]French[/name_m] way.
