Basically, there’s three names I really want to use on a future daughter, all family names or variations of family names. I’d prefer two middle names but it’s not vital. When I put the names together into a full name, they just don’t sound as great to me.
combinations I’ve considered:
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Junia[/name_f]
[name_f]Marceline[/name_f] [name_f]Junia[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Marceline[/name_f]
[name_f]Marceline[/name_f] [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
I like the idea of putting [name_f]Marceline[/name_f] and [name_f]Junia[/name_f] in the same name together, because of the people they honor, but I like the idea of [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Junia[/name_f] in a name together, because of the potential nickname PJ. Opinions?
I prefer Maceline [name_f]Junia[/name_f] to [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Junia[/name_f] (possibly because the nickname PJ makes me think of sleepwear - sorry!)
Both [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Marceline[/name_f] and [name_f]Marceline[/name_f] [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] are nice. I guess it depends on whether you want a short, simple and more recognized first name, or a longer and less used one.
Is there a reason why you don’t have [name_f]Junia[/name_f] as the first name in any of your combos? I think I like it the best of the three - it feels wearable and versatile to me. I like [name_f]Junia[/name_f] better as a first name than [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] ([name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is very pretty but I find it almost too prim to see it on, say, a tomboy), so I wonder if you’d be open to JP as a potential nickname?
[name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Marceline[/name_f] and [name_f]Junia[/name_f] [name_f]Marceline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] would work, too, I think - I like this order the best in how it rolls off the tongue (though of course a surname could make a big difference).
