My fiance and I have been TTC since September 2010 but have fertility issues. I’ve always been a name nerd and love to talk about names in the meantime to make myself feel better about the fertility stuff while we are TTC. Recently we’ve gotten serious about picking names that we will actually use and I’d love some opinions.
If we have a daughter, her name will be Willow Evelyn. This is 100% set in stone and has been since we started TTC. We can’t picture having a daughter by any other name. If we ever have a 2nd daughter, her name would likely be Noelle. We’re unsure on a middle name and I’m open to suggestions. I was kind of thinking Noelle Delilah.
If we have a boy, his name will either Foster Grey or Harrison. We have no idea on middle names for Harrison and I’d love to hear suggestions on that.
The surname starts with an H and ends in ley so no names ending in the ee sound.
So all in all, I would love opinions on the names:
Willow Evelyn H____ley
Foster Grey H____ley
Harrison (and middle name suggestions) H____ley
Noelle Delilah? (also open to middle name suggestions) H____ley
Do these names sound like they’d go nicely together as siblings? We’d like to have 2 children and then decide on a 3rd so they’d likely be used in some combination eventually. Although I guess we’d have issues if we had three kids of the same gender lol. Thanks in advance
I love [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. [name_m]Foster[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is very hip and surnamey. I prefer [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] over [name_m]Foster[/name_m] but both have a unique style. What about [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]? Or I suppose you would want to have two separate names in case you have two boys.
I don’t love [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] as much as [name_f]Willow[/name_f], but it’s okay. [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is very L heavy, but pretty. What about…
Thanks for the suggestions! I love the sound of [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] also and we have considered it. We really can’t decide between [name_m]Foster[/name_m] and [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] and will likely decide after the baby is born if we have a son so it’s a possibility.
I really love [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] and it could be a good option. And oh, how I wish my fiance would let me do [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] but he doesn’t like the name [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. I love it so much. Same thing with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] for [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]. I love it but my fiance doesn’t like the name [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. Our biggest issue is we like completely different name styles. The fact that we came up with 2 names for each gender is a miracle.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is beautiful. [name_m]Foster[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is nice but is quite trendy. I can imagine a [name_m]Foster[/name_m] at any age though which is good!
I think [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] sounds good with a one syllable middle name:
Thank you I know [name_m]Foster[/name_m] can be seen as trendy but I’ve really loved it for a long time and seem to have a thing for surnames as FNs for boys.
I really love the suggestions of [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_u]Seth[/name_u] and [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_u]Cade[/name_u] but FI has already said no to [name_u]Cade[/name_u]. I love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] for [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] but he said no to that as well. [name_m]Will[/name_m] have to see what he thinks of [name_u]Seth[/name_u]
