Opinions on these names please!!!

[name]Hi[/name]! So we have finally been able to agree on a couple of names, and I would love some opinions/suggestions. The middle name spot is going to honor my maiden name ([name]Johnston[/name]), however, instead of using [name]John[/name] (which I don’t really like, and find too common), we will be using a variation of the name [name]John[/name]. The names we have agreed on are:

[name]Lucas[/name] [name]Evan[/name]
[name]Lucas[/name] [name]Zane[/name] (a little worried that the “s” and “z” sound doesn’t flow well together)
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Evan[/name]
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Zane[/name]

*The nn for [name]Lucas[/name] will be [name]Luca[/name], and I do favor this name slightly over [name]Leo[/name]. Any feedback/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!!!

*Our daughter’s name is [name]Vanessa[/name] if that influences your decision at all :slight_smile:

[name]Leo[/name] [name]Zane[/name] is my favorite - very handsome! My second favorite is [name]Lucas[/name] [name]Evan[/name].

[name]Lucas[/name] [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Leo[/name] [name]Evan[/name] are my favorites. I’m not a fan of [name]Zane[/name].

I like [name]Lucas[/name] and [name]Leo[/name] but love [name]Luca[/name]. I vote for [name]Lucas[/name] [name]Evan[/name].

I really like [name]Leo[/name] [name]Zane[/name]. It’s very handsome and cool and I think [name]Leo[/name] goes so well with [name]Vanessa[/name]!

[name]Leo[/name] [name]Zane[/name] is my favorite. [name]Both[/name] names are very suave and cool. Not a big fan of [name]Luca[/name] anyway but less so with a sister whose name ends in A. Have fun deciding!

I like [name]Leo[/name] [name]Zane[/name]. My next choice would be [name]Lucas[/name] [name]Evan[/name].
I agree with the PP, [name]Luca[/name] wouldn’t go too well with [name]Vanessa[/name], especially if her NN is [name]Nessa[/name], or anything that ends in an A. It just ends up sounding to rhyme-y when said together.

I like [name]Leo[/name] [name]Zane[/name] or [name]Lucas[/name] [name]Zane[/name]… but like [name]Luca[/name] [name]Zane[/name] best of all.

Yeah, I don’t really follow any rules when naming, aside from I have to like what the name means, and the middle name has to have an actual meaning to me, so the fact that [name]Luca[/name] and [name]Vanessa[/name] both end in “a” doesn’t bother me one bit. Lol and no, her nickname is definitely not [name]Nessa[/name]. [name]Luca[/name] would just be what I wanted for a nn for [name]Lucas[/name] instead of [name]Luke[/name], which I’m not a huge fan of.
