Opinions on these names?

Hello!

I’d really like your opinions on these names,

[name]Blake[/name]
[name]Brooks[/name]
[name]Ethan[/name]
[name]Mason[/name]
[name]Porter[/name]
[name]Nolan[/name]
[name]Vance[/name]

I have two little boys, [name]Hudson[/name] and [name]James[/name], and a little girl, [name]Naomi[/name]. So if you could also tell me how the sibset sounds, that would be great.

Thank you!
[name]Ashley[/name].

[name]Blake[/name]- It just lacks that spark for me. Maybe a little passe?
[name]Brooks[/name]- Sounds VERY stuck up.
[name]Ethan[/name]- [name]Love[/name] it, even though it’s so popular
[name]Mason[/name]- I think it’s too similar to [name]Hudson[/name], with the -son ending.
[name]Porter[/name]- Also kind of pretentious, but not so much as [name]Brooks[/name].
[name]Nolan[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name]. Definitely my fave on your list.
[name]Vance[/name]- I also like this.

I love [name]Hudson[/name]! My little nephew is [name]Hudson[/name] and I think it’s so handsome.

[name]Blake[/name] - I hadn’t thought about this name because I don’t want to use it myself. As long as your last name doesn’t go badly ([name]Blake[/name] [name]Smith[/name]?), I like it well enough, on either gender.
[name]Brooks[/name] - I don’t like S-ending last names as firsts, and without the S, it’s a girl.
[name]Mason[/name] - It’s a -son name only by coincidence - it doesn’t mean “son of” - but I wouldn’t use it in this set.
[name]Vance[/name] - I like this, though I tend to group it with the [name]Scott[/name], [name]Craig[/name], [name]Neil[/name] set, which I also like though they’re considered dated.

[name]Hudson[/name], [name]James[/name], [name]Naomi[/name] and…

[name]Blake[/name] - it is ok, nothing bad, nothing spectacular
[name]Brooks[/name] - I like it, but wonder if it would sound to much like the feminine [name]Brooke[/name]???
[name]Ethan[/name] - while it is popular, I really like [name]Ethan[/name], especially with your other kids’ names
[name]Mason[/name] - a bit like [name]Blake[/name], ok, nothing bad, nothing spectacular
[name]Porter[/name] - I really like this one and it isn’t that popular, my fave on your list!
[name]Nolan[/name] - It isn’t bad, would be 3rd, behind [name]Porter[/name] and [name]Ethan[/name]
[name]Vance[/name] - never really been a fan of this name. I prefer [name]Vince[/name], [name]Van[/name] or even [name]Vaughn[/name] to [name]Vance[/name].

good luck!

I really like [name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Brooks[/name] with [name]Hudson[/name], [name]James[/name] and [name]Naomi[/name]. I also like the suggestion of [name]Vaughn[/name] instead of [name]Vance[/name]!

[name]Hi[/name]!

Overall, my favorites with [name]Hudson[/name], [name]James[/name] and [name]Naomi[/name] is [name]Porter[/name]. I love that it continues the different ending trend in your three childrens’ names.

[name]Blake[/name] doesn’t do much for me (a bit boring and overused)

[name]Brooks[/name] sounds rather pretentious and might be mistaken as a girl name (part of the [name]Brooke[/name]/[name]Brooklyn[/name] trend)

[name]Ethan[/name] is simply too popular and heard everywhere it seems

[name]Mason[/name] ends in the ‘son’ like [name]Hudson[/name] so it’s far too matchy for me

[name]Nolan[/name] is my second favorite but I’m not too sure about it sharing [name]Naomi[/name]'s first letter and [name]Hudson[/name]'s ending.

[name]Vance[/name] is nice but it’s one-syllable like [name]James[/name] and also ends in an ‘s’ like [name]James[/name].

Good luck!

Saying them out loud, [name]Porter[/name] seems to ‘fit’ the others. It is really difficult to find a name that flows with the rest!
