[name_f]Natalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Oona[/name_f]
[name_u]Shelby[/name_u]
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f]

I used to tell myself that I HATED popular names. But then I find myself drawn to names like [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]… And BNOGs. But Im liking [name_u]Collins[/name_u] and [name_f]Cori[/name_f] for girls

I like [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and really like [name_f]Avia[/name_f].
[name_f]Eira[/name_f] is gorgeous.
[name_f]Gladys[/name_f] is one of my favorite “grandma” names.
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f], [name_u]Mika[/name_u], and [name_u]Shelby[/name_u] are all cute without being cutesy.
[name_u]Collins[/name_u] is ok. [name_f]Cori[/name_f], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Leia[/name_f], [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] are ok, neutral.
[name_f]Bathsheba[/name_f], [name_f]Oona[/name_f], Amarinta I dislike.

[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] - I dislike this
[name_f]Ava[/name_f] - I do like this name, despite it’s ever growing popularity
[name_f]Avia[/name_f] - I like it, similar to ava but distinct in its differences, could be a good alternative
[name_f]Bathsheba[/name_f] - I personally don’t like this name, not quite sure why…I guess it just doesn’t appeal to me
[name_u]Collins[/name_u] - not a fan of this one, I see it as a last name only…as for [name_m]Collin[/name_m], without the s, I see only as a boys name
[name_f]Cori[/name_f] - I really like this name
[name_f]Eira[/name_f] - not sure how I feel about this, but definitely usable
[name_f]Gladys[/name_f] - I know a few elderly women named [name_f]Gladys[/name_f], so I think of it as an old lady name
[name_f]Leia[/name_f] - reminds me of star wars but I still love this name
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] - I like it, although I personally prefer [name_u]Ellery[/name_u]
[name_u]Mika[/name_u] - seems a bit cutesy to me, good for a little girl but not so sure about on an adult…perhaps could be a nickname for something longer?
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] - I’ve always loved this name even when I was a little girl. I find it works well through all ages, and has several nickname possibilities
[name_f]Oona[/name_f] - I’ve never been fond on this. Perhaps because of bullying potential…I’ve heard the mean joke of “you put the ‘ew’ in [name_m]Matthew[/name_m]” by several children and think there’s a chance something similar could occur with [name_f]Oona[/name_f]
[name_u]Shelby[/name_u] - not particularly fond on this as it’s not my style, but it’s usable
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f] - I’ve only ever met [name_f]Zoey[/name_f]'s when they’re very young, never on a grown woman, so I see it as more of a little girls name that may not age too well

[name_f]Araminta[/name_f]- this looks pretty but the sound is just…off. I’d use it as a middle.
[name_f]Ava[/name_f]- way too popular
[name_f]Avia[/name_f]- looks like the make of a car to me
[name_f]Bathsheba[/name_f]- I like [name_f]Sheba[/name_f], but not the full [name_f]Bathsheba[/name_f]…it’s too much of a mouthful and I don’t think the two halves go well together.
[name_u]Collins[/name_u]- ok but a little bit of low class, no offense
[name_f]Cori[/name_f]- I like this as a nickname for [name_f]Corinna[/name_f] or Coriander
[name_f]Eira[/name_f] (EYE-rah)- this is okay, kind of boring
[name_f]Gladys[/name_f]- I don’t like any female names that end in S, so no for me.
[name_f]Leia[/name_f] (lay-uh)- see [name_f]Eira[/name_f]
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f]- Popular in the 80s and 90s, but I like it. [name_u]Mal[/name_u] is cute.
[name_u]Mika[/name_u] ([name_f]Meeka[/name_f])- I know a girl named [name_u]Mika[/name_u], pronounced MY-kuh. I think this will be mispronounced constantly.
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f]- I like [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] better, but [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] is okay too.
[name_f]Oona[/name_f]- I dislike this name.
[name_u]Shelby[/name_u]- see [name_u]Collins[/name_u]
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f]- eh, not sure on this one…I’m on the fence about it.

[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] - Not a big fan. It has some good sounds, but together it kind of sounds like it should be a fragrance ([name_u]Ara[/name_u] like aromic and minta like mint)
[name_f]Ava[/name_f] - Very cute, very usable.
[name_f]Avia[/name_f] - Aww I love this name. Reminds me of birds and flying and sunshine
[name_f]Bathsheba[/name_f] - [name_m]Way[/name_m] too over the top for me
[name_u]Collins[/name_u] - I kind of like this name, the only time I have ever heard it used was in The Blind Side and it intrigued me.
[name_f]Cori[/name_f] - Cute. I like it better as a nn, though.
[name_f]Eira[/name_f] (EYE-rah) - Eh, it’s okay
[name_f]Gladys[/name_f] - Still a little too old lady, in a few years I’m sure it will have a bit more appeal.
[name_f]Leia[/name_f] (lay-uh) - Cute
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] - Not really my style. Feels very southern.
[name_u]Mika[/name_u] ([name_f]Meeka[/name_f]) - I really like [name_u]Mica[/name_u], pronounced mike-a
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] - Very cute, maybe a bit dated?
[name_f]Oona[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] love love this name.
[name_u]Shelby[/name_u] - Eh
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f] - Cute, I prefer [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], though.

[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] - I love it, one of my favourite rare names
[name_f]Ava[/name_f] - overpopular, and so obviously part of the vintage trend that it will become as dated as [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] is now. That being said, the name itself is nice.
[name_f]Avia[/name_f] - this is pretty, and I like the connection to nature. I prefer [name_f]Via[/name_f], though.
[name_f]Bathsheba[/name_f] - I love the history of this name, and how exotic yet familiar it is. The nn [name_f]Sheba[/name_f] is actually beautiful.
[name_u]Collins[/name_u] - wow! This name is so sleek and cool. I like it better than [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] and [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] (I like both of these names), [name_u]Collins[/name_u] knocks it out of the park for me.
[name_f]Cori[/name_f] - I think it should be a nn for another [name_m]Cor[/name_m]- name, like [name_f]Corinne[/name_f], [name_f]Corisande[/name_f], or [name_f]Cora[/name_f].
[name_f]Eira[/name_f] (EYE-rah) - this name looks beautiful… only people will think it’s the boy’s name [name_u]Ira[/name_u] when you say it aloud. That wouldn’t be a deal-breaker for me, but something to consider.
[name_f]Gladys[/name_f] - I think this name is wonderful. It makes me happy because of the word “glad”, it sounds a little like a [name_f]Goddess[/name_f] name with this ‘s’ ending, it’s a beautiful nature name, it has the nn “[name_f]Addy[/name_f]”, and it’s part of the vintage trend but rare. I’m %100 behind this name.
[name_f]Leia[/name_f] (lay-uh) - I strongly dislike this [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars name.
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] - a sophisticated, musical sounding name.
[name_u]Mika[/name_u] ([name_f]Meeka[/name_f]) - this name just doesn’t have any distinction to me.
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] - I think the other names on your list are more interesting.
[name_f]Oona[/name_f] - one of my favourite names. I know a small handful of Unas, who are all great! Such a simple name, yet not without intrigue. I like both spellings.
[name_u]Shelby[/name_u] - this is interesting! I haven’t heard it since the 80s, and I haven’t ever met a [name_u]Shelby[/name_u].
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f] - it’s popular, but it has more character than [name_f]Ava[/name_f].
