Hey, I was just looking for some opinions on these boys names. I’m really fussy and don’t really know what I’m doing when it comes to my boys names so honest opinions are what I’m after as well as suggestions if you feel like it. Here’s what I have:
[name]Felix[/name] - I have never been a [name]Felix[/name] fan but a lot of people are. I cannot get the cartoon cat out my head.
[name]Harvey[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Harvey[/name]
[name]Milo[/name] - I am starting to warm up to this one
[name]Sawyer[/name] - I seem to be hearing it a lot lately but I do like the name
[name]Henry[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Henry[/name] such a classic
[name]Flynn[/name]- I really love [name]Flynn[/name] too, so handsome!
[name]Theo/name - I love both but I prefer [name]Theodore[/name] NN [name]Theo[/name]
[name]Owen[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name]!!!
[name]Xander[/name] - I prefer [name]Alexander[/name] nn [name]Xander[/name] but I think it works fine alone
I am not the best at suggestions but I will try to give you some
[name]Carter[/name]
[name]Andrew[/name]
[name]Gideon[/name]
[name]Simon[/name]
[name]Archer[/name]
[name]Harrison[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Damien[/name]
[name]Ross[/name]
[name]Felix[/name]–On the fence. I really am an F name snob. But this one I don’t mind…I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either.
[name]Harvey[/name]–I really am not on board with this one. [name]Even[/name] though it is the fn of a main character on a show I watch, it is not growing on me.
[name]Milo[/name]–Is okay. Like [name]Felix[/name] it makes me think of a cat. But I don’t hate it.
[name]Sawyer[/name]–I like it.
[name]Henry[/name]–[name]Love[/name] it.
[name]Flynn[/name]–Again with the F…I prefer [name]Felix[/name] to [name]Flynn[/name]
[name]Theo/name–[name]LOVE[/name]!
[name]Owen[/name]–just not a fan.
[name]Xander[/name] --I love [name]Xander[/name] on its own.
In order…[name]Xander[/name], [name]Theo/name, [name]Henry[/name], [name]Sawyer[/name], [name]Owen[/name], [name]Felix[/name], [name]Milo[/name] and [name]Flynn[/name]
I actually love your list. Boys names for me are very difficult too.
The only ones I am sort of neutral about are [name]Harvey[/name] and [name]Sawyer[/name]. It’s the sounds of them, the Harv and the Soy sounds just aren’t attractive to me.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Felix[/name], [name]Henry[/name], and [name]Owen[/name] the best.
[name]Felix[/name] - I love the sound of it, just always think of the cat…
[name]Harvey[/name] - Not a fan of [name]Harvey[/name] - we have burger joints in [name]Canada[/name] called [name]Harvey[/name]'s
[name]Milo[/name] - I really like [name]Milo[/name], very cute name!!
[name]Sawyer[/name] - I like sawyer as well, it seems somewhat trendy though. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Spencer[/name]?
[name]Henry[/name] - [name]Every[/name] other boy I seem to meet is named [name]Henry[/name], don’t like it because of that.
[name]Flynn[/name] - I really like [name]Flynn[/name], I have heard some say it seems feminine because of the “lynn” part, but I disagree and think it’s very appealing. I like it much more than [name]Finn[/name].
[name]Theo/name - I really like [name]Theo[/name], not [name]Theodore[/name].
[name]Owen[/name] - Too popular
[name]Xander[/name] - not my style
[name]Felix[/name]- I’m not a fan. It just sounds like a cat’s name and not very attractive on a boy. It’s also heavily used in the hispanic community.
[name]Harvey[/name]- I like [name]Harvey[/name] ok. It’s a laid-back, country boy kind of name… I also like [name]Harlan[/name], [name]Hurley[/name] or [name]Harmon[/name] as alternatives.
[name]Milo[/name]- I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Milo[/name]. For some reason this name sounds both strong, unique, modern, and yet classic. That’s hard to come by in a name.
[name]Sawyer[/name]- I’m not opposed to this name, although it is the definition of trendiness right now. It’s also being used for girls more.
[name]Henry[/name]- this one has always been a bit boring to me. I just don’t get the appeal although I know alot of people love it.
[name]Flynn[/name]- I don’t get this one.
[name]Theo/name- I really, really like [name]Theodore[/name]. It’s so strong and humble. So different and intriguing without being too out there.
[name]Owen[/name]- it’s cute, but I’m not sure how it grows on a boy and it’s also very, very popular.
[name]Xander[/name]- never been a fan.
[name]Felix[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this name! So handsome yet quirky. I could see this name working on so many different types of men. It’s familiar but not overused.
[name]Harvey[/name] - Meh. I don’t dislike it but it seems a bit dated to me. I think of the movie/play as well as [name]Harvey[/name] Weinstein. It seems a bit dull to me.
[name]Milo[/name] - Another name I love! This owuld be in my top 10 if it wasn’t a popular milk product in Australia (where my SOs family is). I find it to be a bit like [name]Felix[/name] in that it’s short and a bit quirky. It has personality but isn’t over the top or weird. It feels modern yet familiar and isn’t overused.
[name]Sawyer[/name] - A bit more trendy than the rest. I like it but wouldn’t use it myself. I do like the adventurous feel of it though.
[name]Henry[/name] - Handsome, and one of the classics that I really love. Lots of good namesakes too.
[name]Flynn[/name] - This is growing on me. I think of [name]Errol[/name] [name]Flynn[/name], and this definitely has an adventurous side to it. I’m not big on last names as first names but I still like it anyway.
[name]Theo/name - I say go for the full and just call him [name]Theo[/name]. I like both the long and short name. A handsome classic that’s definitely underused, and has some great history.
[name]Owen[/name] - A bit popular for me but still handsome. I see it as being a sporty name.
[name]Xander[/name] - Eh. It’s ok, but I find it pretty common these days.
[name]Felix[/name]- I’m really am liking [name]Felix[/name]. I love the nickname Flix, ala Grand Hotel.
[name]Harvey[/name]- This is okay, I think of the movie [name]Harvey[/name], where he’s an imaginary bunny. (at leat I think that was his name…)
[name]Milo[/name] - so cute! I love it, mainly as a nickname or pet name for [name]Miles[/name].
[name]Sawyer[/name]- this is the only one I really don’t like. It’s still to connected to going down the rive wtih [name]Huck[/name] [name]Finn[/name] and [name]Jim[/name].
[name]Henry[/name]- [name]Love[/name]!
[name]Flynn[/name]- This is okay. Not bad. Not my favorite.
[name]Theo/name- [name]Love[/name] [name]Theodore[/name], nickname [name]Theo[/name]
[name]Owen[/name]- I take it back, I don’t like [name]Sawyer[/name] or [name]Owen[/name]. [name]Owen[/name] is too [name]Owen[/name] [name]Wilson[/name] for my taste. I like [name]Ewan[/name] though.
[name]Xander[/name] - still very [name]Buffy[/name] the Vampire Slayer for me, but I like it. It’s waaay fresher than [name]Alex[/name].
r_j - Thanks! My top three are [name]Felix[/name], [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Owen[/name] right now.
neuilly - I’m Australian and have managed to get over the chocolate milk thing. Maybe your partner will too.
aj_bear - I thought of Flix as a nn and totally thought I was being original! Haha, oh well.
