[name_f]Anna[/name_f] - Prn. [name_m]AH[/name_m]-nah (like in Frozen), I think it is fresh and pretty. If it’s said like [name_f]Ann[/name_f]-ah, I feel like it should be part of a double name (i.e. [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], [name_f]Annalise[/name_f]). It is a lovely name, but very plain in my opinion. I have only every heard it as a double name (I have one aunt named [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] and another named Annalou), and I personally prefer [name_f]Annabeth[/name_f]/[name_f]Annabel[/name_f].
[name_f]Lana[/name_f] - The only association I have with this name is [name_f]Lana[/name_f] Parrilla who plays [name_f]Regina[/name_f] on Once Upon A Time, so for the most part the name itself reminds me of the character [name_f]Regina[/name_f].
[name_f]Lina[/name_f] - I always want to pronounce this LIE-nah. I love [name_f]Lena[/name_f] ([name_f]Lene[/name_f] and [name_f]Leni[/name_f] are two of my nicknames), but the [name_f]Lina[/name_f] spelling throws me off. I love the sound of it, but with this spelling I feel that it should be part of a longer name, like [name_f]Carolina[/name_f], [name_f]Angelina[/name_f], or [name_f]Catalina[/name_f].
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] - I like this name. The Norse Mythos association gives this name a [name_f]Fey[/name_f]-esque feel, so I picture a beautiful Faerie queen.
[name_f]Bea[/name_f] - I really like [name_f]Bea[/name_f]. She’s sweet and charming. I don’t like the longer [name_f]Bea[/name_f] names (like [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]), and to me simple [name_f]Bea[/name_f] could stand firmly on her own.
–Overall, I think that my favourite would have to be either [name_f]Lana[/name_f] or [name_f]Bea[/name_f], mostly because I don’t care for [name_f]Lina[/name_f] (because of the spelling), I like longer [name_f]Anna[/name_f] names, and while I like the imagery and the sound of [name_f]Freya[/name_f] I wouldn’t personally use or consider using the name.
My favorite would be [name_f]Livia[/name_f], I’ve always thought it was cute. I love the name [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and most of it’s shorten versions or nicknames.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] is terribly common in my area. I feel like I know too many Annas to like it. I’m probably too biased to have a decent opinion on it.
I like [name_f]Anya[/name_f]. I think it’s cute, but I feel like a lot of people would find it dated.
[name_f]Lana[/name_f] and [name_f]Lina[/name_f] remind me of little girls I babysat. I think they are cute.
I like [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_f]Bea[/name_f], but [name_f]Bea[/name_f] is more of a nn to me.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]: I think this is a nice and classic name.
[name_f]Anya[/name_f]: This name is cute.
[name_f]Lana[/name_f]: My first impression is that I’m not entirely sure of the pronunciation.
[name_f]Lina[/name_f]: This feels more like a nickname for names ending in -lina.
[name_f]Livia[/name_f]: I personally don’t like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], so I don’t like this name either.
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]: This is a nice name and I know a lot of berries really like it.
[name_f]Bea[/name_f]: This would be a good nickname for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f].
[name_f]Maia[/name_f]: I really like this name! It’s my favorite one from your list.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] - I pronounce this [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-uh, as opposed to the way it’s pronounced in Frozen. I really like the [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-uh pronunciation, I think it’s classic, beautiful and sweet. I dislike it pronounced [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-na, especially with the Frozen association.
[name_f]Anya[/name_f] - “Awn-ya”, I’ve always liked this name but don’t think I’d ever use it.
[name_f]Lana[/name_f] - “Lawn-uh”, I really dislike this name. Also I really associate it with [name_f]Lana[/name_f] [name_m]Kane[/name_m] from [name_m]Archer[/name_m].
[name_f]Lina[/name_f] - “[name_u]Lee[/name_u]-nuh”, I don’t mind this name, but it feels incomplete to me. It would make a cute nickname.
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] - I prefer, [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], though I know they’re distinct names.
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] - I’ve always had a soft spot for [name_f]Freya[/name_f].
[name_f]Bea[/name_f] - “[name_f]Bee[/name_f]”, I love [name_f]Bea[/name_f], though I prefer it as a nickname for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] or any other name that works.
[name_f]Maia[/name_f] - “My-uh”, it’s pretty cute but I prefer the spelling [name_f]Maya[/name_f].
Overall my favourite is definitely [name_f]Freya[/name_f], though I really like [name_f]Bea[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] as well.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] - Classic and sweet
[name_f]Anya[/name_f] - Pretty but not a huge fan
[name_f]Lana[/name_f] - was your pronunciation a typo? A fine name, a bit grown up sounding to me, like a femme fatale
[name_f]Lina[/name_f] - Also a fine name, doesn’t excite me though
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] - Best to stick to [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this, my favorite of the bunch. Sounds fairylike
[name_f]Bea[/name_f] (bee) - My second favorite, prefer it as a nickname to [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Bea[/name_f] would be cute though.
[name_f]Maia[/name_f] - Pretty, exotic sounding
It all depends on the prn. Did you mean [name_f]Lana[/name_f] to be Lawn uh or Lan uh? Larna is really not great. My favs are [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Maia[/name_f]
All of them are nice enough. None really jump out at me except [name_f]Freya[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Freya[/name_f]! I think it is due to the mythology behind the name. [name_f]Freya[/name_f] was a Norse warrior goddess, which makes the name pretty awesome in my eyes. Plus, she had cats, which catches the fancy of this stereotypical cat lady librarian.
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] all of the names with the exception of [name_f]Livia[/name_f] and [name_f]Maia[/name_f]. The derivatives of each are just to popular right now. All of the others are classic, but still with a unique touch.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] ([name_f]Anne[/name_f]-uh): I like this name, especially with this pronunciation. It’s one of those almost-on-my-list names, but I just know too many Annas my own age.
[name_f]Anya[/name_f] (anne-yuh): Same situation as with [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. I like it, but I wouldn’t use it because I know too many [name_f]Anya[/name_f]'s my age. But if that’s not the case for you (or you don’t care), I highly recommend both [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Anya[/name_f].
[name_f]Lana[/name_f] (lar-nuh): I don’t like this name. It feels kind of forced when you say it, and only makes me think of the singer.
[name_f]Lina[/name_f] (lee-nuh): It’s alright, but a little boring in my opinion.
[name_f]Livia[/name_f]: Very nice, I definitely prefer [name_f]Livia[/name_f] over [name_f]Olivia[/name_f].
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]: Again very nice, I love the ties to Norse mythology.
[name_f]Bea[/name_f] (bee): After watching Something Rotten (the musical), I feel in love with [name_f]Bea[/name_f]. I don’t really love [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], and I’m not sure if [name_f]Bea[/name_f] is ‘enough’ on its own. But I definitely like it.
[name_f]Maia[/name_f] (my-uh): I love this name, but I would never use it since my name is [name_f]Mai[/name_f], haha. It’s very lovely, even though I slightly prefer the [name_f]Maya[/name_f] spelling.
My favorites are probably [name_f]Anya[/name_f], [name_f]Bea[/name_f] and [name_f]Maia[/name_f]. They have nice flowy sounds, aren’t overused, and would fit most (all) types of girls/women.
My favorites from your list are [name_f]Anya[/name_f] and [name_f]Maia[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Lana[/name_f], [name_f]Lina[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f]!
My favourite is [name_f]Lana[/name_f].
I like all the pronunciations you indicated. I can’t stand “onna”, sounds so wrong to my ears.
Other favourites are [name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_f]Livia[/name_f] (though I’d prefer [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f]), and [name_f]Anya[/name_f].
[name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_f]Bea[/name_f], and [name_f]Livia[/name_f] stand out to me. The others are a bit boring and get lost in the sea of soundalike names currently in use.
