My husband is Spanish and I’m Italian, so we like latinized names. This name is after my dad ([name_m]Anthony[/name_m]) and me ([name_f]Catherine[/name_f]). We didn’t love [name_m]Antonio[/name_m] but when I suggested [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] we realized it was a perfect choice! We plan on having two children, so we’re trying to choose two boy and two girl options. Our other names include [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Patrizia[/name_f] and [name_m]Santino[/name_m] [name_m]Jos[/name_m]é, which are all latinized versions of family names.
Thank you! And I agree. It’s a great way to give them their own identity while also honoring family and fitting our style! I tend to change my mind on names I just like or love, but family inspired names tend to stick!!
