I just thought of the name [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_m]Augustine[/name_m]. I think it is pretty and classic without being too dated. Opinions?
It’s lovely! I think the frilly-ness of [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is balanced well with the harder sounds of [name_m]Augustine[/name_m]. It feels classic, mature, fresh and cute all at once
It would be a lovely choice.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is lovely and I want to like this combo, but [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] feels way too heavy and clunky for a girl imo. Maybe another -tine name would be better, like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f].
I like the idea and would use it. But the EE ending of [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is hard to use against the vowel start of [name_m]Augustine[/name_m]. What about [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_u]Constantine[/name_u] or [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] instead?
I like it! I love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
Thanks for the suggestions! I do not like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] because it does not have the same sound as [name_m]Augustine[/name_m]. [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is pronounced Clemen-tine. And [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] is pronounced [name_u]August[/name_u]-teen. So the “tine” sound is not what I’m looking for.
It’s not my style. I much prefer the more streamlined [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] would really appeal to me. I just don’t like the frilliness of [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
I love the name [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] is a bit hard to pronounce out loud but it looks very pretty on paper.
