While I prefer the sound of [name_m]Castiel[/name_m], the connotation to Supernatural is very strong to me, and I’ve never even watched an episode of the show. Both are handsome though, and I hope you’re able to settle on a version of it that you absolutely love soon!

I prefer the sound of [name_m]Castiel[/name_m]. I’ve never watched Supernatural but I know it’s popular… However, if you like it, I don’t think it’s a big deal. And it’s not an association his peers will have, even though yours do. Go with the one that you love most.

I like [name_m]Cassiel[/name_m] because it’s fresh to me. But both are quite nice!

Also I don’t know what Supernatural even is (a TV show?).

Yes it’s a tv show! Most I’ve mentioned the name to have gone there first with association which is the only reason I bring it up!

I really like the sound of [name_m]Castiel[/name_m], and the nickname [name_m]Cas[/name_m] is great. It got my vote, but really, both are great names.

I don’t allow my children to watch TV (television) but my HUBBIE loves the Supernaturals. Theres a man in there that shares that name so I would or wouldn’t do it. Your choice.

I’ve never seen/heard of Supernatural. I do like the name [name_m]Castiel[/name_m] - definitely more masculine sounding to me in comparison with [name_m]Cassiel[/name_m]. Sounds sophisticated and almost regal to me. [name_m]Cas[/name_m] is a cute nickname.
