My husband is Spanish and I’m Italian, so we chose latinized versions of family names [name_f]Elaine[/name_f], [name_f]Patricia[/name_f], [name_m]Anthony[/name_m], and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. [name_m]Jos[/name_m]é and [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] are also family names, and [name_m]Santino[/name_m] and [name_m]Teodoro[/name_m] have special significance to us. We intend to have two kids, so we picked one potential boy and girl name for each.
I love all of the names, my only qualm is that I don’t like the o at the end of [name_m]Teodoro[/name_m] right next to the O starting [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], visually, the sound isn’t too bad because it’s [name_m]Teodor[/name_m]-oh [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-scar, but I still prefer [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] [name_m]Teodoro[/name_m], personally. That’s nit picky and probably just personal preference though, all in all, fantastic sib set! I especially love the girls names.
I had a similar thought about the Os next to each other in terms of sound, but I actually love [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] in the first name spot! Hadn’t thought of that. I’ll have to run it by DH and see!
