Opinions on this sibset

so what do you guys think of my latest sibset love:

[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] [name_u]Robert[/name_u] [name_u]Rose[/name_u]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Anne[/name_u]
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]

[name_u]Sammy[/name_u], [name_m]Nate[/name_m], & [name_u]Alex[/name_u]

I like it! However, I think you could be even more bold with Alexander’s middle. His sisters get such traditional and sturdy masculine middles, so it seems he should have a middle that is markedly feminine. [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] is not a bad choice but I think you could get away with a frilly middle if you wanted. Wether you change it or not, I just really love [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] “Sammy”, [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] “Nate”, and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] “Alex” together. They sound like the best of friends

I’m not really brave enough to go with something more frilly,

I like them - they mesh well while also holding their own!

I would hate to have a dad name as a middle as a girl growing up but I like [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] as a boy middle lol :joy: it is a bit girly though…

kind of the point

Yes I can see that I guess what Im thinking is that [name_u]Robert[/name_u] and [name_u]Michael[/name_u] are more solidly masculine and peaked maybe 35 years or so ago. At least I grew up with tons! [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] feels more nature inspired and neutral and maybe more of a grandmother name than a mom name. Sub [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] for [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] and it feels more like a match. Not that I think a kid would appreciate having these names.

I always wanted my middle name to be Elburn after my great-grandfather, so I don’t think they would mind having them as middle names, how often do you use your middle name anyway?

Mostly on more formal things like graduations, a wedding invitation… Im not saying that its not possible for a girl to like [name_u]Robert[/name_u] as a middle just that its less likely. A cool family name like Elburn feels more likeable to me!

[name_u]Robert[/name_u] and [name_u]Michael[/name_u] are both honor names, my grandma wanted to use the name [name_u]Robert[/name_u] if she had another son and one of my mothers favorite singers is named [name_u]Michael[/name_u], so I think once they know the story behind the names they would come to like them.
