inspired by other users I’ve seen doing this, I thought I’d make a thread where I tell you my opinions on your names!!

combos, singles, new crushes, whatever you’d like!!

if they’re combos, please no more than 5 per comment (so I can make sure I get to everyone!) there isn’t a limit on singles, but please not too many at once!!
feel free to comment as many times as you want, though!!! there’s no such thing as too many comments when it comes to this thread! :blush:

ash, i’m so glad you decided to do this! you always give such kind, thoughtful feedback and i’m so excited to hear more of your opinions :yellow_heart:

i’ve been playing around with bea alma and jane sosie, so i’d love to hear your opinions on those whenever you get the chance! i’d definitely be open to suggestions, too, especially for bea (if that’s something that you’d enjoy!).

[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - [name_f]Laura[/name_f] isn’t my personal favorite, I’m sorry. Your other names feel more like classics, while [name_f]Laura[/name_f] feels slightly dated. I think I prefer similar names like [name_f]Maura[/name_f] or [name_u]Laurel[/name_u]. [name_f]Laura[/name_f] does have a nice sound though, and I like the way it looks. I think if I met a young [name_f]Laura[/name_f], my opinion on the name would change, as I’ve only known older women with the name and I think that’s influenced my view of it! I love [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], it’s so bright and happy. I think [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] flows really nicely too!

[name_f]Edie[/name_f] [name_f]Mariella[/name_f] - this is lovely! [name_f]Edie[/name_f] is sweet, and I can picture the name on any age. [name_f]Mariella[/name_f] is beautiful, I think it’s an underused gem. this combo flows well, it has a very melodic sound to it. It gives off both sky blue and ocean blue vibes - like a cloudless sky over calming waves.

[name_f]Peggy[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - this is really cute. both [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] feel very old hollywood glamour to me, which I like. [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] reminds me of [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] from [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m], I think the fact that the musical is still so popular helps the name feel classic, but current. I’d be absolutely delighted to meet a little [name_f]Peggy[/name_f]. I also think it’s refreshing to see [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] as a full first name, rather than as a nickname. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] almost feels like the perfect pairing with [name_f]Peggy[/name_f], like they were made for eachother! I like the slightly stronger sound of [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] with gentle [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] too.

[name_f]Bridie[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] - wow, this name is just warmth and sunshine, birds singing, flowers swaying in the wind. what an absolutely stunning name! It always makes me happy seeing appreciation for [name_f]Bridie[/name_f], it’s such a beautiful name! [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] is lovely too, I never get tired of seeing the name. I slightly prefer the look of [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], but that’s entirely a personal preference.

all of your names flow perfectly, and they all feel very you. If I I saw these combos on here elsewhere, I would assume they were yours!

[name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Alma[/name_f] - I’m guessing you pronounce this as [name_f]Bee[/name_f], because I believe I’ve seen you use the bee emoji next to it, but please let me know if that’s incorrect!! I really love [name_f]Bea[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Bea[/name_f] is one of the sweetest, most adorable names. like pure sunshine and honey. I like that it suits every age too - I can imagine a small [name_f]Bea[/name_f] just as much as I can imagine an older [name_f]Bea[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Alma[/name_f] is absolutely perfect. [name_f]Alma[/name_f] gives off the same exact vibes that [name_f]Bea[/name_f] does, it’s so warm and bright. I think it’s criminally underappreciated. [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Alma[/name_f] just sounds like the most kind hearted little girl. someone who smiles at strangers, is best friends with animals, and is friendly and genuine towards everyone. the only hesitation I can see with the combo, is the repetition of A’s. that personally doesn’t bother me, but I know some people care more about that!

I never get tired of hearing [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. It reminds me of a few characters I love, and I like that. I also think it’s refreshing to see in the first name spot, as it seems to be more popular as a middle now! I like [name_f]Sosie[/name_f] a lot too. It reminds me of [name_f]Sosie[/name_f] Bacon, I remember the first time I heard her name, I thought it was the coolest name ever. [name_f]Sosie[/name_f] is just so unexpected. It’s so soft sounding, but it still has a bit of edge to it. I’ve always been surprised it wasnt more popular! I do think there’s something just ever so slightly off about the flow of [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Sosie[/name_f] though. I can’t put my finger on what it is. personally though, flow isn’t extremely important to me, but I wanted to mention it in case it mattered to you!!
