Opinions please! Naming little brother

I have 1 boy, [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_m]Allen[/name_m]

I am due with my 2nd boy in [name_f]April[/name_f]. I really like the name [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], but is it too similar? They will have the same initials. Is it too weird? Any suggestions welcome! I like unique, but not hard to spell/say names. We also like anything western/old west. Some names we have thought of:

[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]-i feel it’s very common nowadays
[name_u]Dean[/name_u]
[name_m]Rhett[/name_m]
[name_u]Carson[/name_u]
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

I like [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], but it does feel way too close to [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_m]Allen[/name_m]. They would have the same initials, plus they’re both two syllables & end in ‘n’.

Here are my thoughts on the rest of your list:

[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]-It’s kind of popular, but a very cool western sounding name. I like it w/[name_u]Logan[/name_u].

[name_u]Dean[/name_u]-This is fun & less expected.

[name_m]Rhett[/name_m]-This seems to fit your style, but I don’t personally care for it. It just sounds abrupt.

[name_u]Carson[/name_u]-Meh, this is okay. Sort of trendy.

[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]-I love this! I wouldn’t immediately pair it w/[name_u]Logan[/name_u], but they go fine together. It’s charming & a little quirky.

Other ideas:

[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]

[name_u]Rafe[/name_u]

[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]

[name_m]Travis[/name_m]

[name_m]Tucker[/name_m]

[name_m]Zeke[/name_m]

[name_m]Zachary[/name_m]

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

I think [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] works fine with the brother name. To my ear, the names are sufficiently distinctive.

I actually really like [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] and [name_u]Logan[/name_u] together but it maybe a tongue tie to say them together a lot. They are similar on paper but when spoken aren’t too similar to my ear. I guess a consideration might be if you want more children will you carry on the LA initial? (Not that it really matters).

I think they’re a little similar, but could work if you really love [name_m]Lawson[/name_m]! I adore [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] and [name_u]Dean[/name_u], and think they would also make great sibling names for [name_u]Logan[/name_u].

I like [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] for you!! Maybe a different middle would differentiate them more- [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m], [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] came to mind

[name_u]Dean[/name_u] and [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] are also great options

Some others that came to mind include
[name_m]Dawson[/name_m]
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m]
[name_m]Jacob[/name_m]
[name_u]Rex[/name_u]
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m]
[name_u]Paxton[/name_u]
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m]
[name_m]Colton[/name_m]
[name_m]Samson[/name_m]
[name_m]Joel[/name_m]
[name_m]Callum[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_m]Beckett[/name_m]

I would choose either [name_u]Dean[/name_u] or [name_u]Elliott[/name_u]

But if you really love [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] the go for it

I don’t think them having the same initials would be a problem, but [name_u]Logan[/name_u] and [name_m]Lawson[/name_m] sound a little too similar for my taste. From your other options I like [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] and [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] best.
