Opinions please!

After almost 9 months of debate, my husband and I have finally narrowed our list down to 3 names. [name]Helena[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] Icenhour (nn [name]Lena[/name]), [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] Icenhour (nn [name]Izzy[/name]), and [name]Seren[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] Icenhour (no nn). Our last name is pronounced exactly like it is spelled. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I love [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] and [name]Seren[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], but I’m not sure about [name]Helena[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]. Due to [name]Ruth[/name]'s vintage-sweet sound, I’d say go for [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]! Beautiful!

I like all three but [name]Helena[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] is my fave.

My first inclination was to go for [name]Isadora[/name], which I think is absolutely gorgeous and so underused, but I’m not 100% sure about [name]Isadora[/name] Icenhour. I think my vote would be for [name]Seren[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] Icenhour, but I really like all three options.

I think you need that lilting vowel sound to pair with Icenhour. [name]Helena[/name] and [name]Isadora[/name] both have it, but [name]Seren[/name] unfortunately does not. If it were an option, I’d vote for [name]Serena[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] Icenhour, but if not, then I chose [name]Isadora[/name].

1 [name]Helena[/name]
2 [name]Isadora[/name]
3 [name]Seren[/name]

So, your last name is vaguely like Eisenhower, then? I’m not in love with the flow of [name]Seren[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], to be honest, and [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] is a little hard to say with the ending -ra and the starting Ru-. I happen to think [name]Lena[/name] is such a fresh and fun nickname, and I love it with your last name! I’d vote [name]Helena[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]. It’s very pretty.

[name]Lemon[/name]

I like all three, but I like the nn [name]Izzy[/name] best for today’s little girl. [name]Isadora[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] is beautiful!

[name]Love[/name] [name]Lena[/name] much more than [name]Izzy[/name] (too much like frizzy). Also like the [name]Serena[/name] suggestion with your last name. I like both [name]Helena[/name] and [name]Isadora[/name] in full - but would choose [name]Lena[/name] over [name]Izzy[/name] any day. [name]Helena[/name]/[name]Lena[/name] Icenhour is really a lovely and commanding name [name]IMO[/name].

I’m voting for [name]Helena[/name]! So beautiful, and I love nn [name]Lena[/name] - which is spunky and strong.

I’m between [name]Seren[/name] and [name]Helena[/name]. [name]Both[/name] are beautiful! I’m not a fan of [name]Isadora[/name], but that’s just me. All three of those names are great though!

Thanks for all the opinions. [name]Helena[/name] has been my top pick for a while. I’m not sure my husband is sold on it. [name]Isadora[/name] is my number 2, but I worry about her first and last name starting with an I and being 4 syllables long.

Definitely [name]Helena[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]! So pretty.

We are thinking of [name]Seren[/name] too : ) I think it’s gorgeous and your other choices are also lovely but I am biased and love two syllable names.

[name]Helena[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] is my cousins name! I vote for that  I think she’d be glad to know everyone thinks her name is pretty too.

I like [name]Helena[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] best but all three sound really beautiful!

I love the sound of [name]Seren[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] Icenhour! [name]Seren[/name] is uncommon and just gorgeous, love it.

[name]Helena[/name] [name]Ruth[/name], that’d be the one I’d pick.
