As I am forming a girls list, I can’t help but choose a name that will fit a child with the same physical features as me and my current daughter, [name]Charlotte[/name]. We both have fair skin, dark brown hair, and big blue eyes. We also have a son on the way, [name]Elliot[/name]. Can I get your thoughts as to what names ‘go’ with this descripiton? Does anyone else do this? My hubby thinks I’m crazy.

I can see [name]Daphne[/name], [name]Rachel[/name], [name]Arianne[/name], and [name]Violet[/name] with those features. 
When I picture a little girl with those names, I always see a light-skinned little girl with dark hair and blue eyes. I think [name]Helena[/name] or [name]Beatrix[/name] would fit that description, too.
I can’t really see a child of that coloring fitting [name]Nora[/name], [name]Emma[/name], [name]Natalie[/name], or [name]Leah[/name], though–probably because all the Emmas I know are light-haired and blue/brown-eyed, and the [name]Nora[/name] I know has dark skin, curly brown hair, and brown eyes. My sister is really the only [name]Natalie[/name] I know, and she has bright blue eyes and blond hair. And I’ve always imagined a [name]Leah[/name] being light-haired, as well. Although I don’t think that would be a reason to knock them off your list if you love them–they’re so universal that they could fit just about anyone–those are just the images I get when I hear the name.
