I came to a realization today that the babe is due in two months! You mean I won’t be pregnant forever?
We could really use some feedback on our names, here they are!
Middle name would have to be [name]Cora[/name] or a variant of [name]Cora[/name]: [name]Corin[/name], [name]Corinne[/name], [name]Cori[/name], even stretching it to [name]Coralie[/name] or [name]Coraline[/name] would work.
[name]Helena[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name]! [name]How[/name] are you pronouncing it?
(huh-[name]LAY[/name]-nah) - [name]Helena[/name] [name]Corliss[/name]/[name]Coralie[/name]
(HELL-en-ah) - [name]Helena[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Susannah[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this as well, especially with the h. [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Coraline[/name]
[name]Emilia[/name] - I don’t like this, I prefer [name]Amelia[/name]. [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Willa[/name] - Cute, but not for me. [name]Willa[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Annika[/name] - I don’t like the -ka ending sound, but it is refreshing to see an [name]Anne[/name] name. [name]Annika[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Daisy[/name] - This has always seem more of a cute nickname to me, rather than a first name.
[name]Daisy[/name] [name]Coralie[/name]
[name]Flora[/name] - Cute! Very underused but familiar. [name]Flora[/name] [name]Coraline[/name] or [name]Flora[/name] [name]Coralie[/name]
[name]Susannah[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] is by far and away the loveliest option! I’m not a huge fan of [name]Corinne[/name], but, if it’s set in stone, that’s okay. I think [name]Susannah[/name] is divine.
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Helena[/name]. It’s my favourite from your list. I also like the rest of the names, with the exception of [name]Flora[/name]. Most of these names end with an ‘a’, so I’m liking [name]Coralie[/name] or [name]Coraline[/name] as the middle name. [name]Corinne[/name] seems to stomp the flow.
[name]Helena[/name]-I think [name]Helena[/name] is lovely, it’s not my favorite but with all these made up names and spellings, I really can’t fault it. I actually used to work with a girl named [name]Helena[/name]. She was a beautiful Russian girl with a very sweet disposition. [name]Even[/name] though it’s not my personal style, I think it’s a timeless classic name and would be a great option for a little girl With that being said, I personally I don’t think that your middle name options go well with [name]Helena[/name]. [name]Helena[/name] and [name]Cora[/name] are both pretty, just not together. [name]Helena[/name] [name]Coralie[/name] would be your best option if you are absolutely set on using [name]Cora[/name] or a variant.
[name]Susannah[/name]-I don’t care what anyone thinks, this name needs to make a comeback. It has such a charming, classic flair to it. I also love the nickname [name]Sanna[/name]/Sannah. Again with the middle name options, I don’t think they really fit with [name]Susannah[/name]. It is a three syllable first name so in my opinion it would sound better with a one or two syllable middle name, just so it isn’t such a mouthful.
[name]Flora[/name]-I’ve recently started liking this name a lot. It’s very girly and vintage sounding which I love. This is actually my favorite on your list. Please don’t use [name]Cora[/name] if you choose this name though. [name]Flora[/name] [name]Cora[/name] sounds a bit ridiculous.
I don’t really care for the rest of your names, sorry. However the names above are each lovely in their own way. It’s just a matter of personal taste. [name]Just[/name] out of curiousity, which name are you leaning towards the most?
)
Good luck with your beautiful new addition and let us know what name you end up using
I think these are al lovely names. My one reaction is to urge you to use [name]Corinne[/name] in the middle. I love [name]Corinne[/name], so I’m biased partly. But mostly I think the -a ending first names need the balance of a two syllable consonant ending mn.
I love [name]Emilia[/name], [name]Willa[/name] (my favourite of these), [name]Daisy[/name] and [name]Flora[/name]. I also think [name]Corinne[/name] is a very pretty middle name. (I’d go with [name]Corinne[/name], not [name]Corin[/name], the extra ne is much prettier).
[name]Emilia[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Willa[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Daisy[/name] [name]Coraline[/name] - I don’t like this with [name]Corinne[/name]
[name]Flora[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]
So many pretty choices! I think [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] is gorgeous!! I also really love [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]. I like the a spelling so much more that [name]Emilia[/name]. But really, I love all these names except [name]Annika[/name].
I like all of the names, with the exception of [name]Flora[/name]. I love [name]Helena[/name]–it’s my favourite from your list. As for the middle names, I’m liking [name]Coralie[/name] or [name]Coraline[/name]. [name]Corinne[/name] I like, but it seems to stomp the flow.
[name]Helena[/name], [name]Annika[/name]- I like both of these, but pronunciation can be a problem: is it huh-[name]LAY[/name]-na, huh-[name]LEE[/name]-na, or HEL-len-na? AHN-nih-ka, [name]ANN[/name]-ih-ka, or a-NEE-ka?
[name]Susannah[/name], [name]Emilia[/name], [name]Willa[/name]- I love these, especially [name]Willa[/name].
[name]Daisy[/name]- Works much better as a nickname, I think. It sounds a bit cutesy on its own.
[name]Flora[/name]- [name]Flora[/name] [name]Cora[/name]? [name]Flora[/name] [name]Coraline[/name]? [name]Flora[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] is okay, but it doesn’t work with the middle as well as your other names, and I prefer [name]Willa[/name]/[name]Emilia[/name]/[name]Susannah[/name] anyway.
I also really like [name]Cora[/name] or a variant as a first name.
Thanks so much for your help. To clear up confusion, we’re pronouncing [name]Helena[/name] as [HELL-ehn-uh]. We like [hel-[name]LAY[/name]-nuh] but it just won’t work in the area we live. Should we just use the pronunciation even if it may get pronounced wrong sometimes? [name]Annika[/name] is said [[name]ANN[/name]-ih-ka]. @missmelissa- We aren’t quite sure, we love feminine vintage names. [name]Helena[/name] is our favorite at the moment but is subject to change. We would never do [name]Flora[/name] [name]Cora[/name], haha! We were thinking [name]Flora[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] or [name]Flora[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], although its a bit of a stretch.
I love them all except [name]Flora[/name] and [name]Daisy[/name]! My favourites are [name]Helena[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] (I prefer the HEL-ehn-uh pronunciation) and [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Corinne[/name].
