We are still struggling with names and batting a few around. We’ve always liked [name_u]Dani[/name_u] for a girl but thought it was maybe to ‘male’ sounding, what do you all think of this and the spelling?
I really dislike [name_f]Danielle[/name_f] (sorry to any [name_f]Danielle[/name_f]'s out there) but came across [name_f]Daniella[/name_f] today which I quite like and hubby mentioned [name_f]Ella[/name_f] before but don’t like it on its own so it combines both names together and then she could have the nickname [name_u]Dani[/name_u]?
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is another we have spoken about but not overly sure.
I agree with you! I don’t like [name_f]Danielle[/name_f]. [name_f]Daniella[/name_f] is gorgeous. it sounds like Aniela which I love. I feel that ella and dani are too short to be names and should only be used as nicknames which works amazing with daniella.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is ok, its very preety but it doesn’t beat unique [name_f]Daniella[/name_f].
[name_f]Daniella[/name_f] is a beautiful name, I like it. A modern classic. [name_u]Dani[/name_u] is a cute nickname and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is a pretty one. [name_m]Both[/name_m] could work well.
Thanks everyone for there opinions comments, as usual you have all been helpful and have a few more names that I want to throw anout and will start a new thread shortly.
Not a fan of danica, my best friends sister in law is denika which is similar and I think cause some confusion but thank you for the suggestion
