My first overall impression of the names is that some of the names stick out as being…well, very “normal” while other names are more different. For instance, [name_u]Angel[/name_u] and [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] don’t really feel the same as [name_f]Demita[/name_f] and [name_m]Makar[/name_m]. They just sound SO different. Mostly though, I quite like the names. They’re different without really sounding made-up or hard to pronounce.
The names on a whole sound like the story is in the fantasy genre, it looks like some more Middle Eastern names plus some sort of Greek names. I’d also probably guess it’s set in a different world/universe r at least in the far future since on the whole the names aren’t too present day regular people.
That’s just my opinion, you asked for it ;D But uh, was I right in my guesses or totally off?
I would picture [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] being the protector of the group, and [name_u]Angel[/name_u] being the peacemaker, and, just so you know, the [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] spelling is more often used for girls, whereas the [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] spelling is used for guys, and I would picture [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] being lazy and a bit of a jokester.
[name_f]Moa[/name_f]/[name_f]Yui[/name_f] (twins) - go well together. On their own I would have pictured [name_f]Yui[/name_f] Japanese and [name_f]Moa[/name_f] Hawaiian. They get along well, [name_f]Yui[/name_f] is more extroverted and [name_f]Moa[/name_f] quieter.
[name_f]Nyx[/name_f] - very mysterious, so I’d picture her pale with dark hair, quiet, probably has a secret (or is the bad girl). Either very tall or very short.
[name_f]Charlize[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Shar[/name_f]’ - nice, confident, witty person. Probably short hair. I like [name_f]Shar[/name_f]!
[name_f]Sarafina[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Fina[/name_f]’ - well-liked among her peers and of angelic beauty, tall
[name_f]Demita[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Demi[/name_f]’ - a good person, negotiator, can’t stand to see others fight (if we’re talking sibsets, the 2nd youngest). rather short.
[name_f]Harlene[/name_f] - No idea, really. Reminds me of [name_u]Harley[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] so I think it’s the bad girl?
[name_u]Angel[/name_u] - has a secret like [name_f]Nyx[/name_f]. If something bad happens, then probably to her, but not at her fault. Everyone’s favourite character.
Boys:
[name_u]Ivory[/name_u] - bearer of sympathy. Not exactly shy, but kind of passive. [name_u]Red[/name_u] hair?
[name_m]Xavion[/name_m] - [name_u]Ivory[/name_u]'s more active best friend, gets all the girls. The name would also fit for a bad guy.
[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] ‘[name_m]Ace[/name_m]’ - noble/rich parents, [name_m]Ace[/name_m] breaks with tradition, is very tall, a leader
[name_u]Hunter[/name_u] - quiet, strong, the less-talking-more-action-kind
[name_m]Kaeden[/name_m], [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u], [name_u]Cyan[/name_u] - these are just strange to me, they could be anyone.
[name_m]Malik[/name_m] - handsome middle-eastern guy who feels responsible for others
[name_m]Makar[/name_m] - [name_m]Malik[/name_m]'s less-responsible, but well-liked brother, gets himself in trouble
Generally, [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] is the spelling for the girl’s form of [name_u]Adrien[/name_u]. I love the spelling [name_u]Adrien[/name_u]! Have both in one of my stories. [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] is [name_u]Adrien[/name_u]'s aunt for whom he was named. He’s a twin with [name_u]Tristen[/name_u] . . . [name_u]Cyan[/name_u] reminds me I need ink of that color for my printer . . . The rest are not too bad. I like [name_f]Harlene[/name_f] and [name_f]Demita[/name_f]. My spell checker wants to spell it [name_f]Demitra[/name_f]. I think I like that too!
