Opinions please!

I adore the name [name_u]Romy[/name_u], However, our last name is [name_m]Reynolds[/name_m], I feel " [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] [name_m]Reynolds[/name_m]" Sounds awkward. And everyone I’ve said “romy [name_m]Reynolds[/name_m]” has not liked it. What are your opinions? Is there another name we could use for the nick name romy? Or does romy [name_m]Reynolds[/name_m] sound okay?
Thank you in advance!!!

I think [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] [name_m]Reynolds[/name_m] sounds fine:) I love the name [name_f]Romilly[/name_f]! The only other options I can think of are [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] – which I love equally as well. I’d go with [name_f]Romilly[/name_f], though. Like I said, it sounds perfectly fine to me.

[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] [name_m]Reynolds[/name_m] sounds fine, as does [name_u]Romy[/name_u] [name_m]Reynolds[/name_m]. [name_f]Romilda[/name_f], [name_f]Romola[/name_f], [name_f]Ramona[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] could all also give you [name_u]Romy[/name_u], I think.

[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_m]Reynolds[/name_m] “[name_u]Romy[/name_u]”.

I think [name_u]Romy[/name_u] [name_m]Reynolds[/name_m] works just fine. I love the suggestion of [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] as well.

[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] [name_m]Reynolds[/name_m] sounds perfectly fine! Some people aren’t into the matching initials but whatever. [name_u]Romy[/name_u] is a cool nickname and if she grows up and decides she’s not crazy about it, there’s potential for [name_f]Ro[/name_f], [name_u]Rory[/name_u]/[name_u]Rorey[/name_u] ([name_f]Ro[/name_f].milly [name_u]Rey[/name_u].nolds?), or [name_f]Milly[/name_f]. Forget your family/friends/strangers’ nay-saying and stick with the name that you love!

I love alliterative names, when they work, and [name_u]Romy[/name_u] [name_m]Reynolds[/name_m] is lovely [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
