  5. [name]Frederic[/name] - my fave! Except i like it spelled [name]Frederick[/name] nn [name]Freddie[/name]

  6. [name]Harvey[/name] - i’ll take a hamburger and coke please (hopefully you live somewhere where there is the “[name]Harvey[/name]'s” hamburger chain so you get this joke)

  7. [name]Peter[/name] - classic, kinda boring though

  8. [name]Michael[/name] - over used. Only as middle.

  9. [name]Wyatt[/name]/[name]Simon[/name] - love [name]Wyatt[/name], [name]Simon[/name] will grow on me

  10. [name]Luca[/name] - love the worldly vibe this name gives off.

  11. [name]Julia[/name] - much prefer this to [name]Julian[/name]

  12. [name]Annabelle[/name] - love the name. Prefer [name]Annabel[/name] spelling

  13. [name]Veronica[/name] - very 80’s

  14. [name]Catherine[/name] - a classic. [name]Love[/name] the nn options

  15. [name]Margaret[/name] - only if nn could be [name]Daisy[/name]!

  16. [name]Phoebe[/name] - a little jokey - but i can see the appeal

  17. [name]Seraphine[/name] - prefer [name]Seraphina[/name]

  18. [name]Helena[/name] - too many ways to pronounce would lead to a life time of correcting people
    9. [name]Florence[/name] - adore this! [name]Flora[/name] as a nn is amazing

  19. [name]Theresa[/name] - outdated

  1. [name]Julian[/name] – A little soft/feminine sounding, but I love it.

  2. [name]Alasdair[/name] – [name]LOVE[/name] this!

  3. [name]Theo[/name] – hmm, I have never been a big fan of [name]Theo[/name].

  4. [name]Nicholas[/name] – too common for me…I hear it so much that it starts to sound boring

  5. [name]Frederic[/name] – really like this, and I like the spelling

  6. [name]Harvey[/name] – with all the old fashioned names coming back, I think this is one of the cuter ones!

  7. [name]Peter[/name] – one of my all-time favorite boys names!

  8. [name]Michael[/name] – see [name]Nicholas[/name]

  9. [name]Wyatt[/name]/[name]Simon[/name] – I don’t like [name]Wyatt[/name]. I don’t like the sound of it at all. I love the name [name]Simon[/name], though.

  10. [name]Luca[/name] – very cute! Nice alternative to [name]Luke[/name] and [name]Lucas[/name]

  11. [name]Julia[/name] – [name]LOVE[/name]

  12. [name]Annabelle[/name] – cute

  13. [name]Veronica[/name] – ugh, I am sorry, I have never liked this

  14. [name]Catherine[/name] – can’t go wrong with [name]Catherine[/name]! Although again, I hear it so much that it loses its luster for me

  15. [name]Margaret[/name] – similar to [name]Catherine[/name]. I think I like it more than [name]Catherine[/name], actually.

  16. [name]Phoebe[/name] – cute and spunky

  17. [name]Seraphine[/name] – very pretty, I do think of [name]Ben[/name] Affleck, though

  18. [name]Helena[/name] – [name]LOVE[/name] THIS!

  19. [name]Florence[/name] – beautiful name, don’t care for potential nickname [name]Flo[/name]

  20. [name]Theresa[/name]-- pretty

  1. [name]Julian[/name]: I really like [name]Julian[/name]!

  2. [name]Alasdair[/name]: I like it, but I’m not sure how usable it would be in the US.

  3. [name]Theo[/name]: I feel like it needs a longer name behind it. Plus I’m always inclined to pronounce it ‘tay-o’. [name]Theodore[/name] or [name]Matteo[/name] nn [name]Theo[/name] would be great.

  4. [name]Nicholas[/name]: Nice and classic, but not a huge favorite of mine.

  5. [name]Frederic[/name]: [name]Frederick[/name] is a new addition to my list! I really like it and nickname [name]Freddie[/name].

  6. [name]Harvey[/name]: Eh, not a fan.

  7. [name]Peter[/name]: I like it a lot-- I think it’s an understated classic.

  8. [name]Michael[/name]: A little dated and very popular.

  9. [name]Wyatt[/name]/[name]Simon[/name]: I dislike [name]Wyatt[/name], but I really like [name]Simon[/name].

  10. [name]Luca[/name]: I prefer [name]Lucas[/name], but this is fine too.

  11. [name]Julia[/name]: Elegant, classic-- one of my favorites.

  12. [name]Annabelle[/name]: I much prefer [name]Annabel[/name]. [name]Annabelle[/name] is unnecessarily frilly.

  13. [name]Veronica[/name]: I’ve never liked this (I just find the sound unattractive) but there’s nothing wrong with it.

  14. [name]Catherine[/name]: My favorite spelling, and you can’t go wrong with [name]Katherine[/name]/[name]Catherine[/name].

  15. [name]Margaret[/name]: I love [name]Margaret[/name], and all the nicknames-- [name]Daisy[/name], [name]Meg[/name], [name]Maisie[/name], [name]Greta[/name]…

  16. [name]Phoebe[/name]: I really like [name]Phoebe[/name].

  17. [name]Seraphine[/name]: I really like this too, and it reminds me of [name]Delphine[/name]-- one of my favorites.

  18. [name]Helena[/name]: I love [name]Helena[/name]!

  19. [name]Florence[/name]: It’s growing on me… I’d love to see a little [name]Florence[/name].

  20. [name]Theresa[/name]: It’s a teeny bit dated, but an underused classic, I think!

My favorites are [name]Julian[/name], [name]Frederic[/name], [name]Peter[/name], [name]Julia[/name], [name]Margaret[/name], and [name]Helena[/name]. Great list!

[name]Hi[/name], [name]Charlie[/name]! [name]How[/name] are you?

  1. [name]Julian[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it. So handsome and strung, and I love its subtle masculine sound. Great choice!
  2. [name]Alasdair[/name] - I prefer [name]Alistair[/name], myself, but this reminds me of stairs. A middle name, maybe?
  3. [name]Theo[/name] - [name]Theo[/name]…dore? [name]Theo[/name] is great, for a nickname, but I think [name]Theodore[/name] “[name]Theo[/name]” would be perfect for you.
  4. [name]Nicholas[/name] - A classic that you can’t really go wrong with, right? [name]Nick[/name], [name]Nico[/name], [name]Cole[/name], whatever. All fabulous!
  5. [name]Frederic[/name] - I’ve come around to [name]Freddie[/name]'s cuteness, but I like [name]Frederick[/name] better than [name]Frederic[/name].
  6. [name]Harvey[/name] - Hm. I love [name]Henry[/name], so [name]Harvey[/name] isn’t really doing it for me. It sounds like a farmer, maybe?
  7. [name]Peter[/name] - I love [name]Peter[/name]! It’s simple and handsome and not too, too common. [name]Pete[/name]'s so versatile, too.
  8. [name]Michael[/name] - I’m a little sick of [name]Michael[/name], honestly. It just does nothing for me anymore…
  9. [name]Wyatt[/name]/[name]Simon[/name] - [name]Simon[/name]'s so fun! [name]Wyatt[/name] is great, too, but different from your others. [name]Simon[/name] is a great middle!
  10. [name]Luca[/name] - Eh, too different. And, I’m not an -a fan for boys’ names. [name]Lucas[/name] is nice, but [name]Luca[/name] feels off to me.

([name]Julian[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], [name]Frederick[/name], [name]Peter[/name], and [name]Simon[/name] are my favorites. [name]Julian[/name] [name]Peter[/name], [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Michael[/name], and [name]Frederick[/name] [name]Simon[/name] would be very handsome names.)

  1. [name]Julia[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it! Perhaps one of the best female names around, alongside [name]Caroline[/name], in my opinion. Perfect.
  2. [name]Annabelle[/name] - [name]Annabel[/name] is my preference, and I think it’s a little cutesy and young, so I’d say use it in the middle.
  3. [name]Veronica[/name] - I don’t care for any of the nicknames for [name]Veronica[/name], but it is rather striking!
  4. [name]Catherine[/name] - I think [name]Catherine[/name] is great, and I love the [name]Cate[/name] nickname spelling. It’s a tried-and-true sort of name.
  5. [name]Margaret[/name] - [name]Maggie[/name] is one of my favorite nicknames, though [name]Greta[/name] is cool, too. I like this!
  6. [name]Phoebe[/name] - [name]Ah[/name], what a spunky, charming name. A little different than your others, but I love it!
  7. [name]Seraphine[/name] - Eh, this is way too much in my opinion. I’d use it as a middle, but that’s even pushing it for me.
  8. [name]Helena[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it! I’m a [heh-leh-nuh] person, but [heh-lay-nuh] is gorgeous, too. Such a pretty name!
  9. [name]Florence[/name] - [name]Flo[/name] bugs me, but [name]Florence[/name] is neat. I like [name]Frances[/name] better, and [name]Flora[/name], so I can’t say it’s a favorite of mine.
  10. [name]Theresa[/name] - Eh, it’s okay. I’m having a hard time envisioning it on a little girl, but it has a nice sound to it!

([name]Julia[/name], [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Margaret[/name], and [name]Helena[/name] are my favorites, though [name]Phoebe[/name] and [name]Annabel[/name] are nice, too. [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Annabel[/name], [name]Helena[/name] [name]Florence[/name], and [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Theresa[/name] would be pretty names.)

[name]Lemon[/name]

Hello!

Thank you lainy, holbs, asophie1, gigi22, irisrose and lemon (I’m good thanks, lemon. [name]How[/name] are you?) for sharing your opinions! I love to know what everyone else thinks

On [name]Theo[/name] being just that, [name]Theo[/name], I do like [name]Theodore[/name] but probably because it gives the nns [name]Theo[/name] and [name]Teddy[/name] more than anything else. It just doesn’t feel like me, if you get what I mean. [name]Theo[/name] is light, fun but with subtly strength, plus I love how on its on it means ‘godly’ To me it’s a lot like the situation with [name]Leo[/name]. It’s the short form for [name]Leopold[/name] and [name]Leonard[/name]/[name]Leonardo[/name] but is also accepted as a stand alone name. Why not for [name]Theo[/name] too?

On the spelling of [name]Annabelle[/name], I accept that this spelling is frillier and kinda looks like a compound name. [name]Annabel[/name] is the more sleek, streamlined spelling, agreed. But for some strange reason every time I look at [name]Annabel[/name] I see [name]Hannibal[/name] instead. Unfortunate, I know. And since I see names in my head when saying them (yes, I’m weird like that) it would forever remind me of [name]Doctor[/name] Lector and of cannibals. Not good associations, I thought.

On [name]Luca[/name] being… different, I know it is but I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Luca[/name] so so much, it’s probably my most normal and user-friendly guilty pleasure names which it’s why it’s number 10 instead of number one. It sounds so luscious and light, just like its meaning  Yes, people think it’s too feminine with the ‘a’ ending but that doesn’t bother me at all. Does [name]Ezra[/name] sound like a girls name to you? And I agree it is rather ‘Eastern European’ as someone said, I appreciate that point but then don’t most Greek names sound rather Greek? Would it be weird to use [name]Phoebe[/name] or [name]Chloe[/name]? [name]Matteo[/name] is also rather ‘Eastern European’ but that doesn’t stop it growing in popularity in places like US. I guess what I’m saying is if we only used names from our own ethnicities or cultures, our choices could be quite limiting, could they not?

On another note, only the top six names for each gender are really definite. I love the others but I still feel like they could be subject to change so if anyone has suggestions of names they think would fit better, please feel free to share!

As for the combo suggestions, lemon, they are all fantastic  But, and this will sound odd, I had already worked out combos… definitely for the top 5 anyway. Would you like to hear them? After that I would appreciate suggestions for names to go with #6-10.

Thanks again, everyone! Please keep your opinions coming!

  • [name]Charlie[/name]

[name]Charlie[/name], of course I want to hear your combos! [name]Share[/name] away! And then maybe you can help me find a good middle name for [name]Alice[/name]…?

Anyway, I get your point about [name]Theo[/name], and I think he’d be awesome alongside [name]Simon[/name], [name]Daphne[/name], and [name]Eva[/name], for example, maybe even something like [name]Julian[/name], but I’m having a harder time seeing him with, say, [name]Margaret[/name], which is so serious compared to laid-back [name]Theo[/name], right? Anyway, I do like [name]Theo[/name], and [name]Leo[/name], for that matter.

As for [name]Luca[/name], Eastern European? Really? It is just so Italian to me that it’s much more Western European to me. Let’s just call it European, because I think that’s the point - it isn’t American, or English, or Australian, or whatever. Ha! Anyway, I don’t think [name]Luca[/name] needs another Italian name - I love it with [name]Matthias[/name], and that’s Hebrew! I just don’t love it with [name]Julian[/name] and [name]Frederick[/name]…

Combos for your last few, sure! [name]Harvey[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Harvey[/name] [name]Alaric[/name], [name]Harvey[/name] [name]Atticus[/name], [name]Peter[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Peter[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name], [name]Peter[/name] [name]Micah[/name], [name]Michael[/name] [name]Augustus[/name], [name]Michael[/name] [name]Francis[/name], [name]Michael[/name] [name]Everett[/name], [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Thomas[/name], [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Russell[/name], [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Christopher[/name], [name]Simon[/name] [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Simon[/name] [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Simon[/name] [name]William[/name], [name]Luca[/name] [name]Matthias[/name], [name]Luca[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Luca[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name]? [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Ramona[/name], [name]Seraphine[/name] [name]Celeste[/name], [name]Seraphine[/name] [name]Margo[/name], [name]Seraphine[/name] [name]Alice[/name], [name]Helena[/name] [name]Katharine[/name], [name]Helena[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name], [name]Helena[/name] [name]Sylvie[/name], [name]Florence[/name] [name]Isabel[/name], [name]Florence[/name] [name]Antonie[/name], [name]Florence[/name] [name]Georgina[/name], [name]Theresa[/name] [name]Molly[/name], [name]Theresa[/name] [name]Vivian[/name], [name]Theresa[/name] [name]Mathilde[/name]?

[name]Lemon[/name]

[name]Lemon[/name]

I’d love to help you find a middle name for [name]Alice[/name], which is stunning btw  [name]Alice[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] was first thought but I will have a think on it.

Okay, my combos are as follows;

[name]Julian[/name] [name]David[/name] M. - ‘[name]Jude[/name]’
[name]Alasdair[/name] [name]Louis[/name] G. - ‘[name]Ali[/name]’
[name]Theo[/name] [name]Walter[/name] [name]Robinson[/name]
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Henry[/name] [name]Steel[/name] - ‘[name]Klaus[/name]’
[name]Frederic[/name] [name]Charles[/name] [name]Hunt[/name] - ‘[name]Frank[/name]’

[name]Julia[/name] [name]Dream[/name] M. - ‘[name]Jem[/name]’
[name]Annabelle[/name] [name]Louise[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - ‘[name]Grace[/name]’
[name]Veronica[/name] [name]Elsie[/name] [name]Ashton[/name] - ‘[name]Vera[/name]’
[name]Catherine[/name] [name]Nora[/name] [name]Price[/name] - ‘[name]Cate[/name]’
[name]Margaret[/name] [name]Rose[/name] [name]Sinclair[/name] - ‘[name]Mags[/name]’

The middle names are all honouring family except for [name]Dream[/name] and [name]David[/name] and the second middle names are family surnames (the M. and G. stand for ones still in current usage so I won’t post them for security reasons). The top two combos for both genders have important initials - the same ones as my parents - and these are pretty much set in stone. I realise [name]Julia[/name] [name]Dream[/name] is the odd one out but it is the title of a [name]Pink[/name] [name]Floyd[/name] song, plus sharing my father’s initials so it was perfect

The combos I have for the bottom five are uncertain and incomplete but at the moment they are…

[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Edward[/name] - not a huge [name]Edward[/name] fan but it is an important family name
[name]Peter[/name] [name]James[/name]/[name]William[/name] - again, [name]James[/name] and [name]William[/name] are VERY important family names but this combo seems to lack spark
[name]Michael[/name] [name]George[/name] - [name]George[/name] doesn’t have much family importance… I just thought it was a nice fit
[name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Lindsay[/name] - NEED to use a name somewhere that contains ‘lyn/lin’ and I couldn’t decide where else to put it
[name]Simon[/name] - don’t actually have a middle name for this one cause still uncertain if it’s number nine or not…
[name]Luca[/name] [name]Ralph[/name] - [name]Ralph[/name] isn’t super important, I just thought it sounded sophisticated but now beginning to have doubts…

[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Frances[/name] - I love the semi-alliteration of this one and [name]Frances[/name] has a similar meaning to [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Seraphine[/name] [name]Willa[/name] - [name]Willa[/name] is just recently growing on me, it honours [name]Williams[/name] and I love the whimsical feel of this combo
[name]Helena[/name] [name]May[/name] - boring, yes? but [name]May[/name] is SO important for many reasons, it’s a diminutive of [name]Mary[/name] and is an anagram of [name]Amy[/name]
[name]Florence[/name] - nope, again got nothing. Unlucky number nine, maybe?
[name]Theresa[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] - Not a huge fan of [name]Ivy[/name] but I think the combo works and I wanted a short ‘I’ name to honour [name]Ivan[/name] and [name]Ian[/name].

Thoughts? There are so many other names I’m sure could work better but I’d really like all middle names to have some family connection… Is that silly?

Your combos are fantastic! I really like [name]Harvey[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Michael[/name] [name]Francis[/name], [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Thomas[/name], [name]Simon[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Luca[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] from the boys list. [name]Michael[/name] [name]Francis[/name] and [name]Luca[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name] are looking like strong possibilities now, they both have some family connection. [name]Thomas[/name] does too but the meaning ‘twin’ just gets me. I’m probably taking it too literally but it seems weird to use it for someone who wasn’t a twin. Is there another way to look at it? [name]Benjamin[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name] are brilliant but sadly without any family significance. I’ll think on it though.

From the girls list I’m loving [name]Florence[/name] [name]Isabel[/name] and [name]Theresa[/name] [name]Mathilde[/name]. They have personal significance too! That’s looking good… [name]Alice[/name] is beautiful and it’s a family name but I’m not sure how well it flows with [name]Seraphine[/name]… [name]Do[/name] you think it works? Maybe.

I understand your point about the pairing of [name]Theo[/name] with names like [name]Nicholas[/name] and [name]Margaret[/name], the difference in style and length throws me a bit too but I can’t know if I’ll ever get up to using [name]Nicholas[/name] or [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Theo[/name] is higher up on the list and I’m more likely to stop at three kids then go all the way to five or six. Plus I can’t know what mix, in what order I’ll get so I’m not overly worried about that. Sometimes short and long work compliment each other well, do they not? [name]Knox[/name] and [name]Vivienne[/name] for example. Sorry, rambling.

Yes, I see [name]Luca[/name] as Italian too, I was just commenting on what another poster had said… But I’m glad you think it would work without another Italian name  And I like [name]Matthias[/name] too:) But you don’t think it could work with [name]Julian[/name] or [name]Frederic[/name]? [name]Frank[/name] and [name]Lou[/name]?

Wow, this post has gotten long! Sorry about that. [name]Just[/name] before I go, some more suggestions for [name]Alice[/name]'s mn…

[name]Alice[/name] [name]Columba[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Olivia[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Roberta[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Loretta[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Hermione[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name]

[name]Ah[/name] [name]Lemon[/name], I love our conversations  And I’m glad you like [name]Alice[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]! It sounds like a fairy tale character to me

I’m so pleased you like my top combos  I agree [name]Annabelle[/name] [name]Louise[/name] [name]Grace[/name] doesn’t have the most terrific flow but it needs to stay in that order because 1) A.L.G are my mother’s initials and 2) [name]Louise[/name] is SUCH an important middle name.

You know what I think I need? An overhaul of my bottom five names! Probably for boys more than girls. [name]Harvey[/name] stays. So do [name]Phoebe[/name] and [name]Seraphine[/name] and most like [name]Theresa[/name]. So now I’m looking for new possibilities for numbers #7, #8, #9 & #10 for boys and numbers #8 and #9 for girls. Or do you think [name]Helena[/name] stays too? [name]Ah[/name], I’m so indecisive! [name]Do[/name] you think you could help? Some other names l quite like are [name]Bertrand[/name], [name]Christopher[/name], [name]Griffith[/name] and [name]Isaac[/name] for boys and [name]Esther[/name] and [name]Emily[/name] for girls… I think once I’ve got those sorted I can think on middle names a bit more, aye?

Okay, so onto the [name]Alice[/name] combos. You like [name]Alice[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name] the most? I think they fit with [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] really well! Probably [name]Alice[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] more, I think. [name]Alice[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] is perfect! Hmmm… how bout:

[name]Alice[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Georgina[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Sophie[/name]/a
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Dorothy[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Matilda[/name]

Any of those fit? I think [name]Alice[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] are absolutely amazing together

  • [name]Charlie[/name]

[name]CHARLIE[/name],

I’m so pleased you like my top combos  I agree [name]Annabelle[/name] [name]Louise[/name] [name]Grace[/name] doesn’t have the most terrific flow but it needs to stay in that order because 1) A.L.G are my mother’s initials and 2) [name]Louise[/name] is SUCH an important middle name.

OKAY, I SEE YOUR POINT. [name]LOVE[/name] YOUR [name]ANSWER[/name]! WHAT ABOUT [name]ANNABELLE[/name] [name]LOUISA[/name] [name]GRACE[/name]?

You know what I think I need? An overhaul of my bottom five names! Probably for boys more than girls. [name]Harvey[/name] stays. YES - I LOVED [name]HELENA[/name] [name]MAY[/name]! KEEP HER! UM, I LIKE [name]GRIFFITH[/name] AND [name]ISAAC[/name], TOO, AND [name]EMILY[/name] IS NICE. HERE IS [name]JUST[/name] A BIT OF A LIST FOR YOU TO GET IDEAS FROM, I SUPPOSE:

[name]ALICE[/name], [name]AMELIA[/name], [name]BRYONY[/name], [name]CORDELIA[/name], [name]CAMILLA[/name], [name]CECILY[/name], [name]CECILIA[/name], [name]CELIA[/name], [name]DOROTHY[/name], [name]DELILAH[/name], [name]ELOISE[/name], [name]EVELYN[/name], [name]EVANGELINE[/name], [name]ESTELLA[/name], [name]FRANCES[/name], [name]FIONA[/name], [name]FLORA[/name], [name]FRANCESCA[/name], [name]GWENDOLEN[/name], [name]GISELLE[/name], [name]GLORIA[/name], [name]GWYNETH[/name], [name]HARRIET[/name], HOSANNA, [name]HEIDI[/name], [name]ISABEL[/name], [name]IMOGEN[/name], [name]INGRID[/name], [name]IRIS[/name], [name]ISOLDE[/name], [name]JULIET[/name], [name]JOSEPHINE[/name], [name]JULIETTA[/name], [name]JEMIMA[/name], [name]KATHARINE[/name], [name]LOUISA[/name], [name]LUCINDA[/name], [name]LILAH[/name], [name]LAURA[/name], [name]LENORE[/name], [name]LYDIA[/name], [name]MARGARETTA[/name], [name]MATHILDA[/name], [name]MIRANDA[/name], [name]MARIA[/name], [name]MIRABELLE[/name], [name]MARTHA[/name], [name]NAOMI[/name], [name]NATALIE[/name], [name]OLIVE[/name], [name]OPHELIA[/name], [name]ORLA[/name], [name]PAULINE[/name], [name]POLLYANNA[/name], [name]PRUDENCE[/name], [name]ROSANNA[/name], [name]ROXANA[/name], [name]RUBY[/name], [name]RAMONA[/name], [name]REBECCA[/name], [name]SIMONE[/name], [name]SOPHIA[/name], [name]SYLVIE[/name], [name]SUSANNAH[/name], [name]TAMSIN[/name], [name]TALLULAH[/name], [name]VIOLET[/name], [name]VIOLETTA[/name], [name]VALERIE[/name], [name]VICTORIA[/name]?

[name]ABRAM[/name], [name]ARCHER[/name], [name]ANDREW[/name], [name]BENJAMIN[/name], [name]BRYANT[/name], [name]BASIL[/name], [name]BERTRAM[/name], [name]COLIN[/name], [name]CALLUM[/name], [name]CURTIS[/name], [name]CLIVE[/name], [name]DOUGLAS[/name], [name]DONOVAN[/name], [name]DAVID[/name], [name]EVERETT[/name], [name]ELIOT[/name], [name]EMMETT[/name], [name]EDSEL[/name], [name]EDMOND[/name], [name]EDMUND[/name], [name]FELIX[/name], [name]FREDERICK[/name], [name]FRANCIS[/name], [name]GEORGE[/name], [name]HENRY[/name], [name]HARRIS[/name], [name]HENRIK[/name], [name]HOLDEN[/name], [name]ISAAC[/name], [name]ISAIAH[/name], [name]JULIAN[/name], [name]JOHANN[/name], [name]JONATHAN[/name], [name]JAMES[/name], [name]JOSEPHUS[/name], [name]JOSEPH[/name], [name]LUCAS[/name], [name]LEONARD[/name], [name]LEOPOLD[/name], [name]LINUS[/name], [name]LIONEL[/name], [name]MATTHIAS[/name], [name]MAXWELL[/name], [name]MALACHI[/name], [name]NATHANIEL[/name], [name]OLIVER[/name], [name]OSCAR[/name], [name]OSWALD[/name], [name]ORSON[/name], [name]ORVILLE[/name], [name]PETER[/name], [name]PHILIP[/name], [name]PATRICK[/name], [name]PHINEAS[/name], [name]RUSSELL[/name], [name]RORY[/name], [name]REGINALD[/name], [name]ROBERT[/name], [name]REID[/name], [name]SIMON[/name], [name]SEBASTIAN[/name], [name]SAMUEL[/name], [name]STEPHEN[/name], [name]SUTTON[/name], [name]THADDEUS[/name], [name]TOBIAS[/name], [name]TOBIAH[/name], [name]TIMOTHY[/name], [name]THOMAS[/name], [name]TAVISH[/name], [name]THEODORE[/name], [name]ULYSSES[/name], [name]VINCENT[/name], [name]VICTOR[/name], [name]VANCE[/name]?

Okay, so onto the [name]Alice[/name] combos. You like [name]Alice[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name] the most? I think they fit with [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] really well! Probably [name]Alice[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] more, I think. [name]Alice[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] is perfect! Hmmm… how bout:

[name]Alice[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Georgina[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Sophie[/name]/a
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Dorothy[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Matilda[/name]

YES, I THINK [name]ALICE[/name] [name]MATILDA[/name] IS THE BEST FIT AS IT IS ANOTHER CHARACTER NAME, BUT I’M NOT IN [name]LOVE[/name] WITH THE NAME. [name]ALICE[/name] [name]GEORGINA[/name] IS ONE I HADN’T CONSIDERED - VERY PRETTY! [name]ALICE[/name] [name]GWENDOLEN[/name] [name]MAY[/name] BE ANOTHER OPTION, OR [name]ALICE[/name] [name]MARIA[/name]. BUT YOU LIKE [name]ALICE[/name] [name]JOSEPHINE[/name] MOST? YES, PRETTY! [name]ALICE[/name] [name]REBECCA[/name] IS KYEMSMA’S [name]FAVORITE[/name]…

[name]LEMON[/name]

[name]Lemon[/name]!

Oooo big lists of names always make me excited! But first, I do quite like your suggestion of [name]Annabelle[/name] [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Grace[/name]… it is actually quite beautiful. I just don’t know if I want to change [name]Louise[/name]… I’ve got so used to the idea and in this form it is the middle name of a sister, a great-grandmother, [name]Rosa[/name] [name]Parks[/name], [name]Madonna[/name] and [name]Meryl[/name] Streep plus it is the first name of a favourite cousin. I will consider it though; [name]Louise[/name] or [name]Louisa[/name].

Okay, so [name]Helena[/name] [name]May[/name] stays  As does [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Frances[/name] and probably [name]Seraphine[/name], with or without the middle name [name]Willa[/name]. I really like [name]Emily[/name] but I fear it’s overdone at this point…

Onto your list! I’m not keen on siblings having the same first initial so, sadly, all the ‘J’, ‘A’, ‘V’, ‘C’, ‘M’ & ‘H’ names are out for girls and all the ‘J’, ‘A’, ‘T’, ‘N’, ‘F’ & ‘H’ for boys. That leaves:

[name]BRYONY[/name], [name]DOROTHY[/name], [name]DELILAH[/name], [name]ELOISE[/name], [name]EVELYN[/name], [name]EVANGELINE[/name], [name]ESTELLA[/name], [name]FIONA[/name], [name]FLORA[/name], [name]GWENDOLEN[/name], [name]GISELLE[/name], [name]GLORIA[/name], [name]GWYNETH[/name], [name]ISABEL[/name], [name]IMOGEN[/name], [name]INGRID[/name], [name]IRIS[/name], [name]ISOLDE[/name], [name]LUCINDA[/name], [name]LILAH[/name], [name]LAURA[/name], [name]LENORE[/name], [name]LYDIA[/name], [name]NAOMI[/name], [name]NATALIE[/name], [name]OLIVE[/name], [name]OPHELIA[/name], [name]ORLA[/name], [name]PAULINE[/name], [name]POLLYANNA[/name], [name]PRUDENCE[/name], [name]ROSANNA[/name], [name]ROXANA[/name], [name]RUBY[/name], [name]RAMONA[/name], [name]REBECCA[/name], [name]SIMONE[/name], [name]SOPHIA[/name], [name]SYLVIE[/name], [name]SUSANNAH[/name], [name]TAMSIN[/name], [name]TALLULAH[/name]

[name]BENJAMIN[/name], [name]BRYANT[/name], [name]BASIL[/name], [name]BERTRAM[/name], [name]COLIN[/name], [name]CALLUM[/name], [name]CURTIS[/name], [name]CLIVE[/name], [name]DOUGLAS[/name], [name]DONOVAN[/name], [name]EVERETT[/name], [name]ELIOT[/name], [name]EMMETT[/name], [name]EDSEL[/name], [name]EDMOND[/name], [name]EDMUND[/name], [name]GEORGE[/name], [name]ISAAC[/name], [name]ISAIAH[/name], [name]LUCAS[/name], [name]LEONARD[/name], [name]LEOPOLD[/name], [name]LINUS[/name], [name]LIONEL[/name], [name]MATTHIAS[/name], [name]MAXWELL[/name], [name]MALACHI[/name], [name]OLIVER[/name], [name]OSCAR[/name], [name]OSWALD[/name], [name]ORSON[/name], [name]ORVILLE[/name], [name]PETER[/name], [name]PHILIP[/name], [name]PATRICK[/name], [name]PHINEAS[/name], [name]RUSSELL[/name], [name]RORY[/name], [name]REGINALD[/name], [name]ROBERT[/name], [name]REID[/name], [name]SIMON[/name], [name]SEBASTIAN[/name], [name]SAMUEL[/name], [name]STEPHEN[/name], [name]SUTTON[/name], [name]ULYSSES[/name], [name]VINCENT[/name], [name]VICTOR[/name], [name]VANCE[/name]

And from those my favourites are:
[name]Bryony[/name], [name]Dorothy[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Gwendolen[/name], [name]Imogen[/name], [name]Iris[/name], [name]Isolde[/name], [name]Lenore[/name], [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Olive[/name], [name]Ophelia[/name], [name]Orla[/name], [name]Roxana[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Ramona[/name], [name]Rebecca[/name] and [name]Sylvie[/name].

[name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Edmund[/name], [name]George[/name], [name]Issac[/name], [name]Lucas[/name], [name]Leopold[/name], [name]Linus[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Oscar[/name], [name]Peter[/name], [name]Patrick[/name], [name]Phineas[/name], [name]Robert[/name], [name]Simon[/name], [name]Sebastian[/name] and [name]Victor[/name].

I’m not sure any of them are the right fit though and being as extraordinarily picky as I am most of them have little things that don’t make them compatible (in my opinion) with my other top names. [name]Bryony[/name] and [name]Dorothy[/name] have the same ending sound as [name]Phoebe[/name] - could sound a little sing-song-ish, [name]Eloise[/name] is too close to [name]Louise[/name], [name]Imogen[/name] doesn’t have a nn that I can see and neither does [name]Olive[/name], whilst [name]Sylvie[/name] sounds a bit too nick-name-y. [name]Lydia[/name] and [name]Ophelia[/name] have the same ending as [name]Julia[/name], [name]Rebecca[/name] has the same ending as [name]Veronica[/name] and [name]Roxana[/name] is too similar to [name]Annabelle[/name]. See my problem? Nearly nothing fits in my extreme criteria. Argh! Anyway, thank you for the all the suggestions

Oh, I see! You’re going with a character theme for the girls names. Is that for first and middle names then? Yes, [name]Alice[/name] [name]Maria[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] [name]Rebecca[/name] are lovely but [name]Alice[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] is still my favourite  I just think it has more spunk. What are you boys names at the moment, [name]Lemon[/name]?

  • [name]Charlie[/name]

I see your dilemma, [name]Charlie[/name]! I think [name]Eloise[/name] is still passable because [name]Louise[/name]/[name]Louisa[/name] is a middle name, but that’s just me. [name]Sylvie[/name] is a little on the nickname-y side, and it rhymes with [name]Phoebe[/name], so maybe [name]Sylvia[/name] would work, but then you run into that being similar to [name]Julia[/name]. As for nicknames, [name]Gen[/name] would be mine for [name]Imogen[/name], and probably [name]Liv[/name] or [name]Livy[/name] for [name]Olive[/name]. I think those are cute! I think your issue is that you have too many favorites. Ha!

I wasn’t necessarily going with a character theme, but it seemed to evolve into that, right? When I had [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], and [name]Alice[/name], I had four suffragist names. Which I thought was cool! And then I was thinking about [name]Alice[/name] in Wonderland and [name]Charlotte[/name]'s [name]Web[/name] when I was talking to one of the expectant moms, and I thought that was really cool, too! So, I don’t know. And every once in a while I think [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] is a little too sweet - what do you honestly think? Maybe I should skip over this whole thing and use “big girl” characters for middle names - something like [name]Alice[/name] [name]Gwendolen[/name] ([name]Gwendolen[/name] [name]Fairfax[/name]) and [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] ([name]Eliza[/name] Doolittle). My most favorite boy’s name is [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] ([name]Oliver[/name] Twist), and I used to love [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]James[/name] but now it doesn’t have quite a spark to it - I’m sort of falling for [name]Peter[/name] now! [name]Peter[/name] doesn’t have a middle name, either. Good think I’m not having a kid!

[name]Lemon[/name]

Haha, I’m glad you understand, [name]Lemon[/name]

Yes, you’re probably right. But so often it seems the other way, that I just don’t love enough names anymore… It’s funny we’re talking about [name]Sylvie[/name]/[name]Sylvia[/name] because before I had the revelation of using [name]Julia[/name] [name]Dream[/name] and then following through with other important initials, my absolute favourite sib-set was [name]Virginia[/name] [name]Louise[/name] and [name]Sylvia[/name] [name]Grace[/name] after [name]Virginia[/name] [name]Woolf[/name] and [name]Sylvia[/name] Plath. I still love [name]Sylvia[/name] and [name]Virginia[/name], I just don’t think they ‘fit’ anymore. I think now for the girls names I’m looking something to replace [name]Florence[/name]… or maybe [name]Theresa[/name]… they have heaps going for them but I don’t think I can keep both cause I’d be inclined to shorten both to [name]Floss[/name] and [name]Tess[/name]. Another place name would be great, though. Something in the same line as [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Florence[/name]? That would work.

And I’m making progress with my boys list! I’ve decided to include [name]Christopher[/name] because every time I read ‘[name]Winnie[/name]-the-Pooh’ I smile at the name [name]Christopher[/name] [name]Robin[/name] (on an unrelated note, I actually know someone named that) and I just loved how it was described in ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the [name]Night[/name]-time’. So the list as it stand at the moment is;

  1. [name]Julian[/name]
  2. [name]Alasdair[/name]
  3. [name]Theo[/name]
  4. [name]Nicholas[/name]
  5. [name]Frederic[/name]
  6. [name]Harvey[/name]
  7. ???
  8. [name]Christopher[/name]
  9. ???
  10. ???

I’m considering [name]William[/name] as a first name now, with the nn [name]Liam[/name] which would morph into just [name]Lee[/name] over time. Wdyt? My only concern is its major popularity, possibly to point of being overdone and losing all spark. Other possibilities are [name]Rueben[/name], [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Owen[/name] but not sold yet on any of them. I think an ‘M’ name would be nice or one that has a nn ending in ‘x’ …

The suffragist theme is amazingly cool! [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] make the perfect sib-set! Oh, [name]Lemon[/name] don’t lose those! If you give character middle names to [name]Lydia[/name] and [name]Emmeline[/name] you could have two themes going on and keep that beautiful combination! As for [name]Charlotte[/name]'s middle name (ha that feels weird to say) I definitely prefer [name]Eloise[/name]. [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] is soft, feminine, clean and strong at the same time. It makes me think of lavender  I think [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name] compliment each other perfectly whereas [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Eliza[/name] together takes some of the shine off both names, in my opinion. I love [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] It sounds so energetic and fun! [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]James[/name] is very handsome, but I agree it is missing something the [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] has in bundles. [name]Peter[/name] is fantastic, right? [name]Ah[/name], and it fits with the character theme! [name]Peter[/name] [name]Pan[/name]! Hmmm, middle name… [name]How[/name] about [name]Peter[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]? [name]Ben[/name] for your brother

  • [name]Charlie[/name]

[name]Charlie[/name],

Hm. Place names are tough for me. [name]Alabama[/name] is a little on the weird side, and [name]Charlotte[/name] isn’t going to work, right? There’s [name]Georgia[/name], but is it too close to [name]Julia[/name]? Many European place names tend to sound a little pretentious, I think - [name]London[/name], [name]Milan[/name], [name]Paris[/name], etc. [name]Abilene[/name] ([name]Texas[/name]), [name]Adelaide[/name] (Australia), [name]Caledonia[/name] ([name]Scotland[/name]), [name]Elba[/name] ([name]Italy[/name]), [name]India[/name] ([name]India[/name]!), [name]Lourdes[/name] ([name]France[/name]), [name]Roma[/name] ([name]Italy[/name]), and [name]Verona[/name] ([name]Italy[/name]) are the most romantic, I think, and the best fits for you.

  1. [name]Julian[/name]
  2. [name]Alasdair[/name]
  3. [name]Theo[/name]
  4. [name]Nicholas[/name]
  5. [name]Frederic[/name]
  6. [name]Harvey[/name]
  7. ???
  8. [name]Christopher[/name]
  9. ???
  10. ???

I love [name]William[/name], and I find it to be fresher than [name]Christopher[/name], and perhaps even [name]Nicholas[/name], honestly. But, I love [name]Nicholas[/name], and I love your passion for [name]Christopher[/name] - especially [name]Christopher[/name] [name]Robin[/name]! - so that’s great. [name]William[/name] has such wonderful potential both in full and in short - [name]Will[/name], [name]Wills[/name], [name]Wiley[/name], and [name]Liam[/name] are wonderful nicknames! I also like [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Owen[/name] very much, and I think you need shorter names. [name]Reuben[/name] feels a little heavy to me. A nickname ending in X? Hm. I have no idea. [name]Lennox[/name] is one of my new guilty pleasures - it’s a Scottish surname meaning “elm grove” or something - and you could nickname that to [name]Knox[/name], I suppose. An M name? Hm. [name]Maxwell[/name]? [name]Murray[/name]? [name]Milton[/name]? [name]Mortimer[/name]? Ha! No. [name]Matthias[/name]. [name]Micah[/name]. [name]Martin[/name]. Eh, I don’t know.

Okay, okay, we’ll keep my names as is. It was [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Gwendolen[/name] ([name]Gwendolen[/name] [name]Fairfax[/name], “The Importance of Being [name]Earnest[/name]”) and [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name] ([name]Beatrix[/name] [name]Potter[/name]) - is there a character called [name]Beatrix[/name]? I feel like [name]Eloise[/name] might be a little modern to work, and my sister informed me today that [name]Eloise[/name] is ugly. Ugh! But, I love [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name], and I love your lavender description. I’m trying to think of other cool characters! There’s [name]Georgiana[/name], [name]Maria[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], etc. in Pride and Prejudice. There’s [name]Estella[/name] in Great Expectations. There’s [name]Cecily[/name] in “The Importance of Being [name]Earnest[/name].” There’s [name]Catherine[/name] in Wuthering Heights. There’s [name]Jane[/name], [name]Sarah[/name], [name]Georgiana[/name], [name]Eliza[/name], etc. in [name]Jane[/name] Eyre. There’s [name]Daisy[/name] in The Great [name]Gatsby[/name]. There are so many! And, I do love [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] for that handsome playfulness. [name]Peter[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] is cute, but it isn’t doing it for me, and I don’t want to honor just one person! I need another cool literary character!

[name]Lemon[/name]

[name]Lemon[/name],

I guess when I said ‘place names’ what I meant were girls names that were also the names of places… no that’s not a good explanation but for example [name]Odessa[/name], [name]Sofia[/name], [name]Samara[/name], [name]Valencia[/name] that kinda thing is what I’m after. Actually [name]Samara[/name] would be perfect but I’m not keen on its meaning. [name]Just[/name] me. Did you know [name]Alice[/name] is a place name also? I just thought it’d be a neat idea to honour my brother who has a place name and obviously, mine is too. But no, [name]Charlotte[/name] wouldn’t work

You’ve talked me into [name]William[/name]! It is now #7 on the list with the nn [name]Wills[/name]/[name]Lee[/name] and now I only need two more. I’m really warming to [name]Isaac[/name], I love its meaning and how it has the possible nns [name]Ike[/name] and [name]Zac[/name]. It might make the cut. And I like [name]Owen[/name] heaps too but I worry it’s too close to [name]Theo[/name]… only cause the only nn I can see is O and it would be weird to call out ‘[name]Theo[/name], O!’ I don’t know. Maybe that’s just me being neurotic. I prefer to think of [name]Rueben[/name] as ‘rich’ rather than ‘heavy’ I like it because of [name]Rubin[/name] [name]Carter[/name] too. But still searching! [name]Lennox[/name] is very cool but not really me. I do love the nn Nox tho and at one stage I thought [name]Enoch[/name] nn Nox would be great but now I’m not so sure how usable [name]Enoch[/name] is. Plus it kinda reminds me of egg-nog. I like [name]Matthias[/name] but its meaning is too similar to [name]Theo[/name]'s. [name]Maximilian[/name]/[name]Maximus[/name] would be perfect but ‘[name]Max[/name]’ names are taboo in my family :frowning: [name]Phineas[/name] is really growing on me but do you think it’s too close to [name]Nicholas[/name]?

So was that [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Gwendolen[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]? They are SO lovely together, [name]Lemon[/name] Along with [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Peter[/name] Something. Yes, there are so many amazing characters with equally wonderful names in the classics. But male character names in the same league seem to be more elusive… Some suggestions:

[name]Peter[/name] [name]Malcolm[/name]
[name]Peter[/name] [name]Oswald[/name]
[name]Peter[/name] [name]Amory[/name]
[name]Peter[/name] [name]Gray[/name]
[name]Peter[/name] [name]Macon[/name]
[name]Peter[/name] [name]Owen[/name]
[name]Peter[/name] [name]Valentine[/name]

But then of them are fantastic, are they? Hmmm. Some for [name]Nathaniel[/name]…

[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Augustus[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Clay[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Dion[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Felix[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Holden[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Zooey[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Rufus[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Rhett[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Philip[/name]

Again, not much. Not doing too well today. Are any of those close-ish?

[name]Charlie[/name],

I didn’t know [name]Alice[/name] was a place name - where is it? Yea, I think I got what you meant with the place names. I really am starting to like [name]Abilene[/name] more and more myself. It’s just so different and fun! I like your idea of using a place name to honor your brother and you, indirectly. That’s cool!

Yes! [name]William[/name]'s on the list! Great name. Hm. You have a bit of a point with [name]Theo[/name] and [name]Owen[/name]. Would you call [name]Owen[/name] “O,” though? Are you really going to have like ten kids, [name]Charlie[/name]? Okay, okay, [name]Reuben[/name] can be rich. I can see that! [name]Enoch[/name]? Seriously? It reminds me of eunuch, and that’s no good at all. Hm. [name]Phineas[/name] and [name]Nicholas[/name] are too similar for my taste. Jeez - this is hard work!

[name]Glad[/name] you like [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Gwendolen[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name], and [name]Alice[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]! Okay, okay - I must admit, I’m still not sold on [name]Alice[/name]'s middle name. Ugh! [name]Gwendolen[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name], and [name]Eloise[/name] all have this subtle feminine romanticism to them in my opinion. [name]Josephine[/name], too, but to a lesser extent. Maybe I need an author’s first name, like [name]Beatrix[/name], to even the score? Hm - I don’t know what I’d pick! It will stay [name]Josephine[/name] for now!

Okay, [name]Peter[/name] [name]Willoughby[/name] is really fun! I like that [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name] connection! But, I must say that I’ve recently become enamored with [name]Amory[/name] - wow, those words are similar - and I really want to read that book now! On my to-do list - pick up a copy of This Side of Paradise by F. [name]Scott[/name] [name]Fitzgerald[/name]! Oh, [name]Nathaniel[/name]. Yes, let’s see! Hm. I do like [name]Holden[/name] as a name - iffy on it with [name]Nathaniel[/name], though. Maybe [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Darcy[/name]? I do like that! Or, maybe an authorial first name; [name]Oscar[/name] Wilde is a favorite, so [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Oscar[/name]? Hm. Like it a lot, but not with [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]. Boo! No, [name]Nathaniel[/name] should have a character middle name because [name]Nathaniel[/name] is an authorial first name. As is [name]Henry[/name]. [name]Peter[/name] is a character ([name]Peter[/name] Rabbit!), so he should have, technically, an author’s first name? Okay, way over-thinking this!

[name]Lauren[/name],

[name]Alice[/name] Springs is a town in Northern Territory, Australia and is also subject of the book, ‘A Town Like [name]Alice[/name]’ a novel set post WWII. So now you have three place names ([name]Lydia[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Alice[/name]) and two which are book titles.

No, you’re right, I’m never going to have ten children. I’m seriously unlikely to have five and not even definite about having any, I just like to dream… So let’s just leave it at eight. [name]Julian[/name], [name]Alasdair[/name], [name]Theo[/name], [name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Frederic[/name], [name]Harvey[/name], [name]William[/name] & [name]Christopher[/name]. [name]Julia[/name], [name]Annabelle[/name], [name]Veronica[/name], [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Phoebe[/name], [name]Seraphine[/name] & [name]Helena[/name]. There. Now, just to think of middles for the last three.

I don’t think you necessarily need an authors name for [name]Alice[/name] - [name]Alice[/name] is an author name! It’s a name that has it all. So yes, I’d stick with [name]Alice[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]. [name]Peter[/name] [name]Willoughby[/name] is rather fun, isn’t it? [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Darcy[/name] is cool… [name]How[/name] about [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Bennet[/name]? That’s handsome. Or, instead of [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Oscar[/name], [name]Nathaniel[/name] Wilde?
