[name_m]Hi[/name_m],
So my husband and I really like the name [name_m]Sean[/name_m] for a boy, after my husband [name_u]Shane[/name_u] without being a junior, we thought it would be nice but would like opinions.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m],

I think [name_m]Sean[/name_m] is a great boys name. and i prefer the spelling [name_m]Sean[/name_m] over [name_u]Shawn[/name_u] personally though i think [name_u]Shawn[/name_u] looks more like [name_u]Shane[/name_u]. so that is something to consider. but i think its a great name
I love it! [name_m]Sean[/name_m] always confused me actually because a lot of Irish names with -“ea” in them are prn “A” ([name_m]Seamus[/name_m], [name_m]Eamon[/name_m], etc.) so I always thought [name_m]Sean[/name_m] should be prn like [name_u]Shane[/name_u], but then I realized it’s all about the accents/gaelic rules, etc. Anyway, it totally works to honor him.
I totally get what you’re saying but we want the authentic irish spelling, wouldn’t consider [name_u]Shaun[/name_u] or [name_u]Shawn[/name_u] they look funny to us. But we totally love it and the fact it honors him is nice.
[name_m]Sean[/name_m] is a great way to honor your husband without having a junior. I always thought that [name_m]Sean[/name_m] was a handsome name too
I think it’s a great option!
Agree with everyone here. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it as an honor name!
