Opinions on [name]Miriam[/name]. I love it but am not sure that it would work well. I am not expecting, just revamping my list. Any thoughts (positive or negative) would be valuable.
Thanks

I went to High school with a girl a year or 2 below me name [name]Miriam[/name]. She was friends with [name]Muriel[/name].

I think it works fine in real life. It’s old fashioned, but you can call her [name]Mary[/name] too or maybe [name]Ria[/name] which sparks it up!

I never really liked [name]Miriam[/name], but the two I know have always been completely amazing! They are just the sweetest, kindest, most nurturing, perfect women I’ve known. I’ve grown to really like it even though it’s not really my style and I doubt I would use it. I think [name]Miri[/name] and [name]Mira[/name] are cute nns for it.

I am seriously loving [name]Miriam[/name] but I prefer [name]Myriam[/name] because a) its traditionally spelled that way in [name]France[/name] and b) I dont think it looks overly trendy but in the states maybe it would make the reception better for anyone who thinks its too old. The name is so sweet but not frilly, classic, biblical, and suits a girl of any age.

All I know is my top 3 are quickly become [name]Josephine[/name], Athénaïs and [name]Myriam[/name]! I love how similar our name interests are at times!

It’s not a favorite of mine but I do like the nns [name]Miri[/name] or pp’s suggestion of [name]Ria[/name]

It sounds happy & intelligent and little naive.
