[name]Hi[/name]! I posted in the girls forum a couple days ago for a girls name. We’ve narrowed it down since then, and since we don’t know the sex of the baby, we’ve moved onto boys names for a while. Here’s what we like:
[name]Favorite[/name] out of all of those is [name]Aubrey[/name], but [name]Theodore[/name] and [name]Conrad[/name] sound better with big sister’s name.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name] but think with [name]Roxanne[/name] I like [name]Isaac[/name] or [name]Conrad[/name] best
[name]Archibald[/name] – This sounds too old and musty next to the exotic [name]Roxanne[/name].
[name]William[/name] – [name]William[/name] goes with anything! It’s a very neutral name that matches just about any style.
[name]Bartholomew[/name] – Again, I find this a bit too antique to go with [name]Roxanne[/name]'s spunk.
[name]Aubrey[/name] – To me, this is all girl.
[name]Conrad[/name] – I like this, and think it goes great with [name]Roxanne[/name] both in style and sound.
[name]Theodore[/name] – Same as above. Nice choice.
[name]Alexander[/name] – Another great one next to [name]Roxanne[/name], but the popularity of it turns me off.
[name]Isaac[/name] – I feel like this is too Biblical next to [name]Roxanne[/name].
With [name]Roxanne[/name] I love [name]Conrad[/name], [name]Theodore[/name] and especially [name]Isaac[/name] to match the spunk of big sis.
In general I like [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]William[/name] for their masculine classic appeal, but they might fall short next to sis
I do not like [name]Archibald[/name] or [name]Bartholomew[/name] because they seem dated and old and would be the root of LOTS of teasing
and lastly,
I do not like [name]Aubrey[/name], as it sounds like the weak little sister of [name]Roxanne[/name] rather than a masculine and strong little brother.
I think [name]Conrad[/name] is the one that most fits the style of [name]Roxanne[/name]. The other names have a more antique feel that might be better paired with a more old fashioned girls name.
