Opinions

[name_m]Just[/name_m] asking for opinions on the name Brahier [name_m]Rick[/name_m] both are family/honor names, brother is [name_m]Brigham[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. Nickname would likely be [name_m]Bear[/name_m].

I have to admit I’m not a huge fan. It’s a little close to [name_m]Brigham[/name_m] for me and it doesn’t roll off the tongue. However, since it’s a family name and I like the nickname [name_m]Bear[/name_m], I think it could be usable?

I like how Brahier looks. [name_m]How[/name_m] would it be pronounced? It is a little similar looking to [name_m]Brigham[/name_m] though, so not sure if that is the intention.

Pronounced [name_u]Bray[/name_u]-er

While Brahier is a little matchy with [name_m]Brigham[/name_m] I think they sound different enough that it can work. I like the look and sound.
I think longform [name_m]Richard[/name_m] might sound a little better in the middle than [name_m]Rick[/name_m], but if [name_m]Rick[/name_m] was the person you’re honoring’s given name then I totally understand using it.

I like the flow of it. I do find it a bit matchy with [name_m]Brigham[/name_m] but I think since it’s a family name and since you’re using a nickname you can get away with it.
