Okay for the longest I’ve felt settled on [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] if I have a daughter (TTC wish me luck) but it’s been suggested to me that I reorder it to be [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] because of the syllables, and I’m starting to hear what they mean, but then with our surname the initials would be DRBS like Dr. BS. And I’m not 100% sure it sounds significantly better with our surname which I will share for the ability to get accurate opinions.
I personally prefer the flow of [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f], both as a common and with your surname. It’s melodic to me.
With just the 3 names I prefer [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u], but with your surname I prefer [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] S*tton
I like the way [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] sounds better and then with your surname it goes from like better to strongly prefer so [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] 100% gets my vote.
I think DRBS is fine but I like the flow of [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] better. Kids are really not gonna notice the initials if you do decide to switch it around.
I think I prefer the flow of [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u]. And I don’t think anyone will bat an eye at initials.
I wouldn’t worry about the DRBS initials myself, but I do think [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] sounds better in general, and also with your surname! Since [name_f]Renee[/name_f] has emphasis on the second syllable and [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] is so short, [name_f]Renee[/name_f] [name_u]Blythe[/name_u] doesn’t sound as nice to my ear.
