I just about discovered these names yesterday while browsing on other websites on my computer. I really like the rarity and meaning of each name. That being said, I am quite warming up to them and would like to know other people’s opinions. Which one would fit better with siblings named [name_u]Robin[/name_u], [name_m]Bernard[/name_m] ([name_u]Bernie[/name_u]) and [name_f]Celia[/name_f] ([name_f]Celine[/name_f])?
I know they are a bit more out there than my kids’ names, but I don’t know, it’s a feeling I had and I actually feel quite giddy just thinking of them.
I like both names quite a bit. [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] in particular is generally a crowd favorite on Nameberry.
[name_f]Oriana[/name_f] I think goes really well with your sibset actually. I don’t think there’s a discrepancy in style there at all, actually. [name_m]Just[/name_m] a difference in popularity and exposure.
[name_f]Oriana[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] would be stunning for you.
I agree that [name_f]Oriana[/name_f] sits a little better alongside your other children’s names. It’s much softer and more melodic than [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], which are qualities that your older kids’ names share, plus it feels that bit more conventional (without being remotely popular) because of the familiar, feminine -ana ending.
That said, there’s no obligation that sibling names should “go” together, and [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] is a fantastic name which I’ve considered myself.
Thanks you all for the feedback. I quite prefer [name_f]Oriana[/name_f] is a middle name, [name_f]Oriana[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] as @Medfordkung suggestes sounds beautiful. These were ideas I had and are certainly new crushes, but I’m still searching for that name that’ll be “the one”.
