I started working with a girl called Anedr@ ([name]Ah[/name]-knee-dra). At first I thought it was a typo in her email but it’s NOT.
I think it’s actually rather lovely and was wondering if anyone knows where it originates from. I tried looking it up but haven’t been able to find it anywhere.
I can’t find that name anywhere or the meaning of it. I asked my brother about it since he’s worked in South [name]Africa[/name] and he never heard it once.
Google the name and there’s a surprisingly large number of people with it. Can’t tell where they all are, but I did notice a trend with some last names that sounded [name]Indian[/name] to me, and people based in [name]Malaysia[/name] as well. Kind of maybe goes with the theory about [name]Anitra[/name]. South [name]Africa[/name] is a place with so many traditions, there is historically a large [name]Asian[/name] population based there as well. Forgive any ignorance here, I recognize I’m talking about at least three distinct cultural traditions in one post, but ones that I think nonetheless share some relative overlap.
