I love [name_m]Orlando[/name_m], so I had to vote for [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. The character in As You Like It is a pretty great one to share a name with, and if you watch the 1936 film version of the play (starring [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] [name_m]Olivier[/name_m]- ooh, another great O name) you’ll probably love it even more. One of the few actors I swoon like crazy over, haha.
O names: I also like [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], Oleander, [name_m]Octavian[/name_m]/[name_m]Octavius[/name_m]/[name_m]Octavio[/name_m], and [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m].
Honestly, I like [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] about equally. But I do like the nn potential of [name_u]Finn[/name_u] so the former got my vote.
I voted for [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] as well. I really like [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] and the names flow well.
Other O names:
[name_u]Oberon[/name_u], [name_m]Odin[/name_m], [name_m]Odysseus[/name_m], Oisín, [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]/[name_m]Oskar[/name_m], Osirion, [name_m]Ossian[/name_m] and [name_m]Otto[/name_m].
I’m really loving [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. The flow, rhythm, and feel is all very good.
I really like [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. They are all very handsome.
I absolutely live all three names: [name_m]Phineas[/name_m], [name_m]Orlando[/name_m], and [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. Though [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] is more of a Guilty Pleasure to me personally, I still love it!
I much prefer [name_m]Phineas[/name_m]. Phin/[name_m]Fin[/name_m] is a cute nn, and [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] is just too [name_f]Florida[/name_f]-esque. Some places, like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_u]Jordan[/name_u], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_m]Chad[/name_m], [name_u]Madison[/name_u], and [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] are fine, but very well known places like [name_u]Sidney[/name_u], [name_u]Kenya[/name_u], and [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] are too much [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
and [name_m]Roland[/name_m] and [name_m]Orland[/name_m] and [name_m]Ronaldo[/name_m].
[name_m]Phineas[/name_m] reminds me of the word phlegm, alas.
I looooove [name_m]Orlando[/name_m]! I had a guy in my anthro program named [name_m]Orlando[/name_m]. I thought it was awesome because I had just fallen in love with the name right before I met him. I said maybe 3 words to him the whole year we were in class together, but it was great to see it in practice. He’s very musically-inclined, too.
For some reason, [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] nn [name_m]Ozzie[/name_m] is an ideal situation for me, but [name_m]Ozzie[/name_m] isn’t a very natural nickname. I feel like with a name a “out there” as [name_m]Orlando[/name_m], you could probably get away with a creative nickname as well.
[name_m]Orlando[/name_m] [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] as [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] is too [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] and Ferb for me.
Okay here goes:
Bonfire: I like [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and Oleander as well! Thanks for the help.
Emsky: Thanks, I like [name_u]Finn[/name_u] as well. I think it makes [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] more usable.
[name_f]Zelia[/name_f]: Really like [name_u]Oberon[/name_u], [name_m]Odysseus[/name_m], and [name_m]Otto[/name_m]. Thanks for the suggestions!
SMaple: Thank you! I agree, the flow turned out well.
LoveMySweeties: Thank you! By the way, I love your naming style, all the names in your signature are lovely.
[name_f]Zoie[/name_f]: Thanks for the feedback!
Jacquigirl: I agree, some place names are just too much. I always felt [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] worked because of [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] Bloom though.
[name_u]Leslie[/name_u]: Haha, phlegm. What a funny word.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]: Wow, [name_m]Ozzie[/name_m] is perfect! I’m a big fan of unexpected nicknames (even ones that don’t completely make sense) so [name_m]Ozzie[/name_m] is right up my alley! Thanks so much!
Tfzolghadr: Now that you mention it, I can see [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] as being nerdy, but I can also picture other personalities… Thanks for the help!
[name_f]Ebony[/name_f]: Haha, I was hoping by the time I had a son named [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] that [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] and Ferb would be a thing of the past.
Thanks a lot berries!
