When I was a little girl, I stumbled across this gorgeous book of fairytales in a book exchange, that was located in a little, dated boutique shop. I was only four at the time and my Mum had let me pick a book to take home. The book I found was from the 60s/70s and was filled with gorgeous painted scenes of princesses, fairies etc. It’s become a book that I still peruse through on rain days and admire the gorgeous illustrations by [name]Janet[/name] and [name]Anne[/name] [name]Grahame[/name] Johnstone. It also kind of got me away from the typical image of princesses and princes since the illustrations were so visually stunning. But what names fit with this idea inside my head?
For the Frog [name]Prince[/name] I see names like [name]Zelda[/name], [name]Lissie[/name], Septa, Onelle for the princess; [name]Oren[/name], [name]Huxley[/name], Tern, [name]Riese[/name] for the prince… a bit more off/fairy-like, just by the way the picture is.
For [name]Cinderella[/name], [name]Cherise[/name], [name]Linnea[/name] ([name]LIN[/name]-ay-uh, right?), [name]Ilsa[/name], Kriste, or anything uncommon and French for [name]Cinderella[/name]; [name]Gregor[/name], [name]Jovan[/name], [name]Percival[/name] for the prince.
For Beauty, [name]Francesca[/name], Maylin, [name]Georgiana[/name], [name]Holly[/name]… I’m not sure, either long and classic or nature. Any pictures of Beast? I’m actually extremely interested in Beauty and the Beast right now, as I plan on trying to rewrite it when I have time.

I have to say I love the illustrator! In fact, these works look extremely familiar - I don’t suppose there are illustrations for either [name]Rapunzel[/name] or [name]Rose[/name] [name]Red[/name] and [name]Snow[/name] White? I had a book with selected stories in it and I’ve been trying to track down those particular two stories since I lost the book
