Orso for a girl?

WDYT? Is it too boyish?

I don’t know if it’s too boyish, but I’d definitely assume that an Orso was male. Maybe it could work as a cool nickname! To Oriana or something. You might also like Ursa, or if it’s the -o ending that you like, Marlo? Harlow?

I would think it is a male’s name too, doesn’t it mean bear?

I would assume that an [name_m]Orso[/name_m] was a boy, but it’s not a very well known name, so it could work for a girl. I personally like it.

It’s solidly masculine to me, I can’t really picture it on a girl at all.

very masculine to me

Thanks for your feedback. I think the same too, but I can’t find anything with a similar meaning that I like as a name just as much.

I’m looking for statement names with French/Italian origin that will work in [name_f]English[/name_f]. Any ideas?

I can’t not think of orzo pasta :woman_facepalming:

[name_f]Ursa[/name_f]
[name_m]Oslo[/name_m]
Arctura
[name_u]Atlas[/name_u]

I admit this was my thought too😁 sorry

I don’t hate it though
